Large SUV lease deals! Florida

Hey y’all, I need some advice. I am going to be selling my 2017 Sierra privately and then leasing a large SUV (growing family and need a large SUV for work). I’m more interested in the best deal possible than what I am driving.

What large SUVs would y’all consider very good deals in this current market? I have already asked edmunds for numbers on a whole slew of SUVs.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Whatever you get you’ll likely want to pickup outside of Florida. Dealers are terribke for the most part and the fees are high. Likely will save thousands leaving the state for a car lease.

If looking for toyota message me!

Can you define large SUV for us? For some, a 2 row Grand Cherokee would suffice as ‘large’ while others would look at 3 row SUVs or something along the lines of a Yukon or Tahoe.

Sorry, along the lines of explorer, grand Cherokee L, Yukon.

Forget about lease deals in this segment; they just don’t exist right now. Before someone mentions the GCL and “% off MSRP” that’s how suckers get destroyed every day at dealerships: Inflate the made-up number called MSRP and then show a sucker a “discount.”

Bottom line: You’d have to buy/finance something.

Explorer is on the small side IIRC as far as interior space.

Check out the Chevy Traverse (lowest entry point as far as MSRP goes), Telluride/Palisade twins (higher end of resale value), or Nissan Pathfinder (in between).

If you don’t actually need the third row and are just looking for good cargo space: Honda Passport.

It’s fascinating watching the word Jeep consistently send you into a blind rage. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m hard as hell on my vehicles. My Sierra has 103k but it may as well be 500K with the way I drive. That’s why I would like to lease.

I have to replace struts and engine mounts on my Sierra before I sell it.

Thank you. I’ll check out the traverse. I like the Explorer bc it can come with captain seats.

I’m 6’8” and sat in an Atlas yesterday at Carmax and to me it felt like I had more room in the Atlas than I did in the 2019 Tahoe sitting next to it.

The Atlas has captains chairs too.

I’ll check that out too thank you!

LOL don’t get me started on Escalades & Navigators

Depending on what you need the space for (eg hauling people, hauling stuff or towing) I think the atlas and new pathfinder are excellent values at or near msrp. Same for the Korean twins but I think they’re generally harder to get a “deal” on.

Pretty much everything in this segment can be optioned with captains seats.

For example, the Telluride S, the second from bottom trim level, comes with captains seats.

You noticed too!
