I saw an ad this morning for KIA Telluride EX for $399/month, amoutn due at signing $ 0 plus TT&L and doc fees. 12K miles/year, 39 month lease, MRSP:$39,035 . I called the showroom and they said its true. Is it a good deal ? Its in TEXAS. I did not see much any thing about Telluride in here.
Need to figure out what the actual cost is after they add in all the fees to evaluate.
That’s funny, amount due at signing $0, , so yeah no it isn’t $0
Around $2400 is Texas tax.
Can back out the selling price based on the tax… divide by 6.25%
Sorry , I did not get that. What do you mean ? This is the forst time i am doing. Dont know the terminology?
If sales tax is 6.25% and the amount is $2400, that means the selling price is $38400.
Head over to Edmunds to get rv/MF/incentives to see what they are right now so you can figure out if they’re giving $600 discount or if that’s actually just a dealer rebate and they’re charging MSRP (or higher).
1st, You’re doing yourself a disservice if you haven’t read up on the Lease Terminology and Leasing 101 articles.
Please read up on some Leasing 101 articles, it will only help you in understanding and negotiating a good lease.
2nd, does Texas charge tax upfront or with monthly lease? Also, find out if Texas calculates tax on the selling price or the lease payments?
How much are each of these?
I would JUMP on that! Sounds way to good to be true! I think they left out the 4000 they want down payment
Down payment is $0 or nothing due at signing? I am guessing the former. There is a big difference.
Taxes and Doc fees
Texas tax is 6.25%. around $2400 plus Doc fees
Are you guessing based off of them saying ttl and doc fees, or did they actually say it’s only $2400 in taxes plus doc?
Also, if it’s $2400 in taxes, that means they’re selling the car for a whopping $600 off msrp, and it’s yet to be determined if that’s before or after incentives. Determine what the actual deal is. It’s possible that kia has stepped up their lease support on these and that this seems to be a better deal based off of that, not because the dealer is doing anyone any favors.
I just checked KIA website, doesn’t look like anything changed.
They don’t show MF/RV info there though
No one’s going to help you if it’s akin to pulling teeth. Stop repeating the same ambiguous phrases like “plus doc fees” over and over.
Posts without $ numbers are useless here.
Sorry Taxes are $2358 on $37735 MRSP
So they’re charging full MSRP then. What happened to the $39,035 MSRP vehicle?
