Is it worth getting this one? I loved the performance of the car. It drove really well.
For some reason payments seem to be high. Where and how can I negotiate ?

But the first question that needs to be cleared away is if its worth getting this one.

I might want to change cars after a couple of years, how much can I expect to get for it Vroom, carvana etcetera?

What is the mf actually? 0.00223? Or 0.00001?

With that selling price I would definitely leased it and then financed after couple of months. Search early buy out thread of MDX on this forum.

Va kills you with the taxes on the full cost of lease so just get a bank to cut you a check and pay it off so you own it. Don’t have to pay taxes twice

You will not pay tax again if purchase your car after lease.

The dealer said 0.223 and I am guessing he meant 0.223%. And I think it’s quite high and I am not sure If I can negotiate on that.

I am sorry can you explain that? What if I plan to get into another car? Would this be the way to do that? Buy it and sell it again?

Wow, google how to switch MF to APR.

Yeah it is multiplied by 2400. so 0.00223*2400 = 5.352% APR

If you like this particular car me personally would take advantage of lease vs purchase incentive and then financed it.

MF isn’t expressed as a percentage, so it’s far more likely they meant .00223. Otherwise your payment would be sub $300.

I’ll try to square away this confusion. As of now, the Leasehackr score is 8.3 years. I am gonna try to get close to 10 and one of the ways is to negotiate further on the price or negotiate on the MF.

Also, how would the lease-buyout work to let me get out of the lease?

Leasehackr score is irrelevant. It’s not a good metric for a lease. With the stinger, generally the thing to do is use the lease incentives to start a lease and then immediately buy it out.

MF can’t be negotiated below buy rate, so you need to figure out what that is before looking at negotiating that.

What are the incentives on this car? At the end of the day, you are going to have to decide for yourself whether paying $480 a month for a Kia is worth it.
Forget about the leasehacker score.

Agreed and not even the fully loaded Kia! Sticker is 42k

@qasim216 - Did you end up getting the car?
