KIA GAP Waiver Benefit

Hello fellow hackrs! I live in NJ but will be leasing a KIA today from a dealership located in CT. I read the following on a KIA Finance brochure. Does that mean GAP coverage won’t be included because the dealer is in CT? Thank you!:pray:

“ GAP* waiver benefits are included in all
Kia Finance leases at no additional cost
(others may charge you)
*GAP waiver not available in CT or NY.”

So the dealer explained to me that Gap insurance was included even though the dealer is in CT. The finance person explained that the CT and NY disclaimer impacts financing, not the Gap insurance itself. Whatever that means.
