This shows a payment of 487. What seems to be making the difference is the “taxed incentive box” on the LH calculator. Can someone explain to me what is going on? I thought I got this stuff which I clearly don’t. TIA.
don’t lump in the incentives as the discount off msrp, they need to go on the incentive line. in your calculator, you list $7500, and that’s not correct. the taxed incentive line should show $15900 (applied offers in the screenshot)
what’s the actual discount off msrp?
edit: nevermind, i see it in the screenshot. this dealer is giving you just 3.8% off msrp:
Yeah I just caught that. I clearly didn’t understand where things go. I think I’ll skip for now. I’m looking for a super hacked lease in the zone of 300-350 per month, awd and decent trim package. EV6 GT line was one of the few to fit the bill but doesn’t look like it’ll work. Thank you for your help!
become a leasehackr supporter to get access to the mf and residual info. i think this can be cheaper. make offers based on what you know from the supporter calculator, and msrp discounts shown in the marketplace subforum.
is this screenshot from the dealer or just something you filled out on their site? either way it’s just a lead generator and isn’t based on anything real.
a 6% msrp discount, rebates, and base mf puts this in the low 400s. i don’t follow ev6s because, well look at them, but good luck!
really appreciate that. I’ll become a supporter now. Cause look at em. lol. I don’t hate it - plus 800v dc fast charging. Not a ton of options on that list in this price range that aren’t named tesla.
Ioniq 5, 6 and 9 have been more hackable than Kia EVs recently. Kia had some supply issues and their dealers have less inventory that needs to move afaik.
As an aside, charging speed (beyond a certain minimum) is so far down low on my list of priorities now, more than I ever imagined at the start of my EV driving journey. The number of times I’ll use L3 chargers x the charging time delta = I’m looking at 30 minutes “saved” over the course of a year. YMMV.
You are not getting a super hacked lease by asking dealers for quotes, especially if you can’t reverse engineer them. You can see what brokers and dealers are offering in the Marketplace if you don’t want to put in the effort of putting together a target deal and making offers to dealers.
Thanks I guess. There is a scarcity of data on these cars in the marketplace. Doing my best to figure it out and learn since it’s my first time through this. We were all learners at this point. Got nothing to do with my work ethic I can assure you.
More about strategy than effort. The dealer who will ultimately sell it for your target deal is unlikely to offer that deal on first pencil and may not negotiate down to it. Asking is a waste of time and spoils the relationship.
At anytime — tell us the structure of the target deal for the EV6 GT you’re targeting and what you need to start making offers to dealers if you’re serious about hacking one. Not much to offer feedback on so far.
