Kia Carnival dealer discount

Hi
How much are people seeing as a realistic dealer discount in the Kia Carnival (hybrid or regular). I have the calculator that I can play around with but not seeing many data points with numbers break down here.

Thanks.

Did you look at the marketplace?

I did. Did you find one that spells out what the dealer discount is? The market place deals typically only list DAS and monthly. Folks aren’t linking the calculator to their deals.

I’m in the market for a Carnival SX hybrid and there’s really not too many data points on the east coast marketplace…

I’ve seen discounts vary between 3-4.5%, but with a 800-1000 doc fee and a 600-800 broker fee. I live in NY where doc fee is capped at only 175, so accounting for all that comparing apples to apples, really only looking at $500 off MSRP.

Are those including incentives or just dealer discount?

I can go back like $2k-$2500. + $599 broker fee.

Im in the same place (NY). Looking to get a Kia Carnival or Honda Odyssey lease and am flexible with everything except getting it with 0 down and the payment as low as possible. Even willing to take a demo or showroom car

You don’t have to post the same thing in multiple threads.

You also should understand that most gas 3-row cars are not hackable. That Carnival will probably cost you more to lease than a $130k Mercedes EQS.

Sorry - still learning about how to navigate the forums

Dang… was hoping that wasn’t the case. I guess the only way to get a more aggressive price is to get a “used”/2024 lease. Any other thoughts?

If that hack existed you’d see it in Signed Deals & Tips

All the knowledgeable people who got a Carnival on this forum bought theirs. Do the same or look for an Odyssey lease in the Marketplace

At least in the NY region, there’s $2800 lease cash on the hybrid SX. I’ve only been looking at financing, but with that much lease cash, I’m thinking of leasing and buying out immediately. I think that is more than enough to offset the acquisition fee and buyout fee… Thoughts?

Double sales tax in NY kills that idea unfortunately.

Ah forgot about that :-1:

With impending Tarrifs, checking to see what people are seeing in terms of Carnival discounts. Offered about 7% off MSRP on a SX prestige gas.

That’s before or with incentives?

Before. I ended up signing it yesterday.
Msrp: 52260
Sales price: 47600 (~9%off)
Rebate: 1800

24m lease for 10k miles in Norcal
Drive off : 1600
Monthly: 725

They marked up money factor, but figured it was still ok. Hoping it is a good deal. I need a large car but only for 2 years max.

wow, that’s about $20k for 20k miles. To me it’s a marginal deal, but if you need the car and don’t want the hassle of selling it, that’s what it costs.

In a similar situation, I was considering that if I have positive equity, I can always do a 3rd party buyout. That way I can avoid Cal sales taxes. Is there a flaw with this reasoning?
