JEEP - Wrangler/Unlimited Sahara Lease Deadline Today from Dealer

My dealer sent me the below this morning after showing interest yesterday…I am definitely going to lease, but is the below a “good deal” because of course he gave me a deadline of “TODAY” 5/1/2017, assuming they can still put it on April books.

Thoughts on the lease payments?

How does tax work in Florida?
The deal seems ok seeing as Wranglers just do not lease well generally speaking.
$500/month will lease many nicer vehicles than a Wrangler. Jeep knows they have the only game in town for this type of vehicle, hence the extremely high MF as reported on other threads.

Thanks Adam-

FL tax is 6% (in my county) of the total lease amount I believe…not quite sure actually.

I leased my 2017 Wrangler Unlimited Freedom Edition MSRP 40k for 410 month, zero down, only first payment due at signing. 36/12.

And im pretty sure the dealer made a mistake in my deal because there is an extra 2k payment the dealer had to make to the financing company…

Also, to get this price i had to go through a credit union which gave a better money factor than Chrysler was offering.

Given those circumstances i dont think its that bad of a deal…

Wranglers lease like crap so payments generally are pretty high…

Have you test drove the wrangler? I sort of regret getting one especially as a lease because they arent really “nice” until you throw some money into them… NOt to mention over 60 mph and the car starts shaking and is quite scary actually lol…

TBH if i were to get a 45k again, a wrangler would not be on the list…

Thank you for that info!

To answer your questions - NO - I have not even driven one - its for the wife who just likes them/wants one despite my objections…and she wont get up off the couch to go test drive one…smart! She expects it to show up in the driveway. :-/

I’d much rather have a Range Rover Sport…and you’d think SHE would also…still scratching my head.

They are also VERY unsafe… They dont have side air bags etc… because well the car comes apart lol…

I think they look VERY cool, but for the money you really dont get value out of them… Theyre slow, dangerous, and most packages are primitive… I have the most loaded Wrangler you can get and it doesnt have a backup camera even lol.

If you LEASE, I would highly recommend finding her an alternative lol.

And this is coming from someone that is leasing one right now lol

Well it’s a marriage made in heaven - @FLA997 wants a wrangler and @naderade wants to get rid of one. So lease transfer anyone?
