Rf/lh call check thank you for all the help
If this is an sfs deal, acq fee is $995 and youre missing gov fees.
Why do you think it isnt calculating tax? You have the box checked to capitalize tax, so youre rolling the upfront t taxes into the monthly.
I am in TN and trying to negotiate a lease. Most brokers and/or dealers won’t do leases to TN from out of state. I have searched for weeks and emailed/ttxt/talked till I am blue in the face to dealers. I found a Jeep in TN that I think I can live with as far as options etc. I asked for the deal sheet and here is what I got. I think am missing a bunch of items to put into dealhacker/lease hacker.
Anyone have some patience to walk me through this and what else I might need to know or ask for. I don’t even see the mileage on this sheet they sent. It is a 36/15.
I can’t tell if the $55130 is the selling price. Head is spinning.
Here is the attempt at leasehacker and the sheet they sent.
Link doesnt work.
Updated sorry
what trim is this on? your msrp discount 6.6% which is low , i would push for 10-12% dealer discount… also you only have 8000 in rebates, did you know about the extra 1000 TDM cash that you can get on jeep.com, build and price, there is a pop up after midnight
S trim and thanks for reminder I initially told them about $1000.00 tdm. Did not see it on offer. The dealers around here pretty much stand firm on price. All the out of state dealers that want to deal tell me they don’t process leases to TN.
According to the dealer worksheet, 55130 is the sell price. The only thing I can’t reconcile is the 1709 capped fees which I suspect includes doc fee, acq fee, and gov fees. You may want to get an itemization.
The 6701 due at signing includes 1st payment (442.56), tax on total cap reduction (7% x (8000 + 5325.64) = 932.80), and cash cap reduction (5325.64). Total sales tax is just 36 x 28.95 + 932.80 = 1975.00. I manually confirmed the accuracy of all dealer calculations assuming the 1709 is correct.
Not sure why you’re paying 5325,64 upfront as a cap reduction. No need to pay this as you could lose most or all of it in the event the vehicle is stolen or totaled. Conserve your cash. Remember, a car is an expense and a depreciating asset, not an investment. Use the 5325 to invest in goods and services or other more meaningful and productive investments, particularly if you can earn the equivalent of an after-tax rate of return exceeding 1.35% (2400 x .00056 ≈ 1.35%) which should be easy to do.
You need to talk to Gupton. They will offer a good discount.
Gupton has two 4xe neither I want.
You may not want them but see if you can get an aggressive quote and use that as leverage on the one you do want.
You can order what you want at a great discount. We’ve ordered a bunch from them when Wrangler leases were hot and we are located out of state.
Dang thank you. You are all a great asset.
Proud to be a supporter to this site.
Well I blew those three deals out the window. Dealers around here get so mad when you ask for details and discounts. Like they have the last Wrangler 4xe on the planet. Then they back track and shut down the conversation when you call out the deceptive practices or pricing. Even if you have it all in a text, deal sheet or email. I just stopped answering the phone it becomes exhausting. Have a good night all.
example of email response I got back today.
I told him the vehicle has been sitting there for months. They are losing money every month it sits there. I asked for 12% off of msrp and then rebates and TDM. He never even came back and said how about 6 or 8 or 10. Just said no. Second time today that happened. Told them all I could close out the deal by Friday at latest.
giving you $10,110.70 is 16.67% off. and an additional 12% off of MSRP would be 28.67% off msrp. i understand when they sit on the lot and they costs us
money. but i can promise we wont be motivated to take almost 30% off a wrangler 4xe. losing 10+ thousand dollars on a vehicle
doesnt make sense on any business.
msrp- $60,655
+$8000 rebate
+$1000 TDM
- $1011 discount off of msrp
Im showing you all you asked for. i just dont have $7,278 in excess to lose. if another dealership is able to do that on all their vehicles
im having a hard time understanding how they stay in business. I would love the opprotunity to earn your business if anything changes.
Yah, most dealers aren’t going to do a deal like that.
A very small few will, but you have to be prepared for most to say no.
Do you have access to an Affiliate Code?
That would get you another half point to point on your discount. I negotiated 12% off MSRP then threw my code in and received another half point off.
Worth asking the dealer if providing a code bumps your dealer discount up.
Yes I do, then the excitement really starts. It’s just a grind. Good thing I am not in a rush.
Maybe, maybe not.
Affiliate guarantees you 1% under affiliate. If a dealer decides to add anything extra on a dealer discounted under that amount, they can, but most won’t.
Some will do an extra 2%, some an extra 1%, most do nothing, etc.
I got a $1000 from the TrueCar website. Could this layer on top of that? I’m shopping a 4xe too and dealers are acting like I’m crazy to want 12% and then the 8k plus the 1k truecar.
