Jeep Wagoneer - not selling so good?

,

The Waggoneer rear end is very off putting. It just doesn’t fit right proportionally to the rest of the vehicle. It’s like they rocked the front end, kept drawing back and then went “uhhh, how do we finish it?”

Isn’t the front almost identical to the front of the GC?

The Wagoneer is pushing the BOF platform while the durango/GCL are still car based; so while size may appear similar, the overall output is going to be different.

That being said, the boxy design, almost like an upgrade to their ugly ChDM Grand Wagoneer which they tried to form on top of a BOF platform didnt do any styling favors personally.

Finally the fact that Jeep is essentially selling you the same customer experience as someone purchasing a Dodge Journey will not sit well. If the intent is to make Jeep the American Land Rover, they need to start bringing more to the table.

I foretell even deeper price cuts to push the metal; whether it become official in terms of a MSRP cut, or a trunk full of money to customers or dealers who knows.

Actually the series one wagoneer was a pretty good lease candidate for a 24 month lease with a strong 77% residual and could be had for under 750 all in depending on your discount. They screwed up the mf this month so not that good of a deal anymore.
