I actually did check Edmunds before posting, but they claim only $3500 rebates for high altitude in my area. So, they’re saying I only qualify for the North East BC Lease Cash and Chrysler Capital Bonus.
I googled the IDL Bonus cash, which seems to be given when going through other than Chrysler Capital.
So that leaves 2k in bonus cash which I I dont know If i qualify
Im still figuring this out - someone correct me if im wrong but i think the IDL rebate can be used but would have to go through someone other than Chrysler
You found them here? Curious because i didnt see the IDL cash on mine. not sure if i was looking at the wrong spot.
Currently working with a few dealers. Trying to get to the bottom of this rebate stuff. Dealer last night had me at 7k of rebates but wouldn’t tell me the details. Edmunds had me at 4500. Ill let you know as I find out!
Make sure jeep.com is using your zipcode (or one near you). You can check this by click the find a dealer in the upper right and it should pre-populate the search field with your zip.
Then at the end of the build/configure thing, If you estimate financing and click on the lease tab, it will show the incentives everyone qualifies for. In a handful of quotes I’ve received over the past year, I’ve never seen this be wrong. Though note, it doesn’t include conditional incentives (such as loyalty/conquest) and it’s only for a Chrysler Capital lease.
So if I don’t have IDL cash listed on the Jeep site - does that mean I have tapped out all my rebates even with a different lender? Could a different lender have more idl cash or rebates that are not listed?
Dealer recently responded, letting me know that there were additional rebates through Ally. Wouldn’t give numbers through email. ill try and stop in soon and find out.
Understood. But Jeep.com website is misleading & would be interpreted as it all stacking - “Includes up to $10,500 Bonus Cash…expires 10-31-2018”. Not sure what makes you eligible for the “up to”z
Well, now I can’t say I’ve never seen it be wrong.
The website is indeed misleading/inaccurate. At the very least you would not be able to stack the Chrysler Capital incentive with the IDL one (as IDL by definition is for third party banks), which the builder is doing.
grabbing quotes (24/15K) from a few dealers on '18 Overland (MSRP 50-51K).
For my location, I can grab 5500 in rebates/incentives if I go with Chrysler Financial (aka Banco Santander). However if you go with US Bank, you can grab up to 10000 in rebates/incentives. Sounds like a no brainer, right?
What I learned - MF and RV under Chrysler Financial is .00007 (free money) and 56% residual. With US Bank, MF jumps to .00169 and RV drops to 52%. The added ~5K in added rebates easily wiped away in jacked (~400+ basis points) and lowered RV.
For me it was almost a 150/month difference. But the dealer promoting going with US Bank suggested “Chrysler Financial, in name only, is horrible to deal with at lease end”.
Ok, but can Chrysler Financial really be an extra 5K in finance charges pain in the butt? Thanks but I think I’ll take my chances considering I take really great care of my vehicles.
