I’m in SW Florida. Most dealers are giving 8k+ off, in addition to the $3500 incentives for a 2024 Wrangler Rubicon. Per the calculator, the residual on a 24 month lease is 72%, with a MF of 0.0035. I have talked to 4 dealers who have confirmed the discount, dealer fees and incentives. All of their monthly payments are at least $175 more than they should be. I assume the are jacking up the MF to cover the discount? None are willing to budge, so I assume they have to be making 8+ point on the financing?
yes. 101010
Keep in mind a CDJR dealer can use any one of 3 or 4 lessors for leases ( Ally, US Bank, Stellantis ). That could mean you guys aren’t on the same page at all as another hacker recently found out.
The reason I say 3 or 4 is I am not sure if CCAP is still originating new leases or if they are all swapped over to Stellantis.
As always on LH, we recommend making a well researched offer to a dealer vs asking them what they want you to pay. They are always going to start at the moon and work back down.
Thank you. I gave them the monthly payment that LH gave me, but no luck. Do you know what bank LH uses to come up with their monthly payments?
Pretty sure the data provider pulls the data for the primary captive of each manufacturer. Meaning Stellantis for CDJR products, Toyota Financial for Toyota and so on.
Ideally another person more knowledgeable can confirm.
Then move along to another dealer. Send your offers to many you only need one.
This right here. You’re never going to get them to come down $200 a month if they’re playing those games. Not you’ve given a sales manager the correct mf and residual he’ll know the program anyway unless he’s jamming you into a different one to hit some bonus he’s just playing games to see how gullible you might be.
Just happened to me on 4XE. Sent them all the info form the calculated with a targeted deal. Came back 230 bucks a month higher than my deal worked out on the site based off correct Mf and residual. Either he’s got about 4k of fees no other dealer is charging or he’s just going to hold these anchors to try to make it back on the masses. Problem is he has 50 plus 24s on his lot a present. On to the next dealer.
Note in the calculator whether the lease says SFS or CCAP next to it.
SFS = Stellantis
CCAP = Chrysler
The SFS are all better than the CCAP.
The payment calculator with that payment is showing as Stellantis Financial Services.
I have moved along, to 4 different dealers. All the same outcome. Looks like they are trying to make the discounts with the Money factor, which over the term of the lease, wipes out 80% of the discount. Love Jeep dealers!
Unreal. So at $230 a month ($2760 a year), they are basically not discounting the car at all with the higher MF. Its funny, the same Jeeps have been sitting on the lots for 4+ months. You would think they would want to move them.
I’m only hitting ones that are 250 days or over and these guys are just sitting there holding onto an asset about to get wiped away.
This one dealership has 50 plus 2024 wrangler 4xe on the lot. Jeep dealers are a funny breed. Going onto 7 dealers now with little response. The other problem is that several of these dealers don’t even list the sales managers email on the website. They just are stuck in the old model. It’s why these brokers are such a resource. I got my ram from autocompanion and may end up back there again given the bs I’m seeing.
Like I get trying to fleece some rube off the street but when I come with a targeted deal and list all the particulars it might signal I know enough to not come out like that. Of course I couldn’t help myself and engaged with him and got no response when I called out the bs. Best I could tell backing into his number was that he ignored my rebate breakout and only applied the 7500. Only other choices are he hit me with like 4k fees over what others are charging or maybe he marked up the MF even thought I gave that figure to him already

Are they even using SFS? The dealers in my area are all pushing Ally.
Makes it easy to advertise a big discount when its really just the large IDL cash
You need to hit up more than that. Try 20-30 dealers but your in Florida so most dealers suck here anyways. Have you looked into a broker yet ?
Hitting up more dealers = just asking for quotes? Not a great strat.
Know your target, make offers to 10+.
Your right about that, dealers do suck here! I haven’t hit up a broker as I’m trying to get a remaining 24 model with the bigger discounts.
