Jeep Dealer telling me my numbers are "way off"

,

another hackr @Johns00 informed me that when they adjusted the terms to 24/ 15000
that the numbers ended up working out. I was trying to replicate their deal to begin with.
I spoke with the dealer this morning, and they said that 15000 was actually the key to bring it down. I’ll get a pencil or worksheet from them as soon as I can, but Oregon is starting the $2500 state rebate again on 5/22, so that’s opened the door for some other makes that I’m more keen on.

If you want I can connect you with my guy at Key Jeep In Rochester, they absolutely killed it on my 4XE deals, super nice and straight forward, very friendly as well. 24 mo/ 15k yr w 0 down I was at 350/mo.

That’s pretty solid, what trim?

$0 down or $0 DAS?

This is where I grabbed mine, it was their last ‘24 though. They had to pick it up from their VT location.

did you get GC or Wrangler? Their website says they still have some 24s

Grand Cherokee

Thanks! Do you remember if their advertised discount was similar to actual? Or did you have to “work for it”?

It was an easy process with them

When I showed it to them and they saw how much they actually could make (or at least limit losses) by leasing, they are trying to do more leasing now where they hadn’t done any in the past.

Lmao this is the funniest thing I’ve read about a dealership. Imagine a customer telling you how to make money/limit losses.

i have a dealer out here who’s “best lease guy” isn’t even aware you can lease loaner cars. they have the car listed for sale sub-38k (61k msrp). when i told him he went to check with 2 banks, he claimed one wouldn’t do a loaner and the other would do a 4xe. i asked if he checked with SFS and he said “oh yeah, let me check with them”. that was yesterday around 6pm, and i still haven’t heard back.

I can help you get one more through them, it’s not online but I got a connection with the GM there, can tell em George sent you if you want.

Its a deal that fell through that they got available again

$0 down / 0 das - MSRP was $65,505

One of the best lease deals in the history of LeaseHackr

Those Acura deals are the most nuts deals I’ve seen, I’m pretty happy with this deal though.

Thank you! It’s a GC or a Wrangler? I inquired about a Wrangler but they told me it sold unfortunately. I think they have another, waiting for them to get back to me

It’s a grand Cherokee.

Would love more info on this.. For my own knowledge! Any reading you recommend?

Jeep dealers are like that. Stubborn in spite of themselves. You just have to keep trying until you find a salesperson that will work with you. I finally found one and he was great but man what a process. Funny thing is one of the “stubborn” dealers I tried to work with still has the same 2024 GC sitting there months later.

small town dealer. Really good guys, just never had experience doing leasing before. It’s actually rare to find a dealer humble enough to want to learn something new. It took more than a handful before that were so arrogant and thought they knew everything before I found them. If someone is willing to learn from what I’ve learned over decades and dozens of car deals, I’d be happy to help them any way I can - whether an individual or a dealer.

The updated lease program will be released on May 16th. I hope it will help to move some metal.
