I feel this is absurd for a Jeep Compass lease here in Michigan. Let me know what you think!
You’re going to get absurdities 99% of the time you deviate from:
- ID the most hackable cars for your needs
- Build a calculator for your target deal
- Make offers.
- Have offer accepted or accept strongest counter

Thanks Max! I guess I’m having a hard time starting with step 1. I’ve kind of figured out how to properly do the rest. Where and how do you find the most hackable cars?
Crazy money for a compass imo
Look into the Dodge Hornet or an Alfa Romeo Tonale. A bit nicer and the numbers have potential to be much better.

I believe the MSRP on both of your recs come in higher than a Compass. Doesn’t that increase the price and monthly payment?
Higher msrp does not necessarily correlate with a higher lease payment, especially when we are looking at completely different makes/models.

As always search/browse Signed Deals & Tips and Marketplace to see where hackable cars are being priced at.
The concept of hacking (and this forum) exist precisely to find those discrepancies, for example when a $50k MSRP car can be leased well below 1.25x the payment of a $40,000 MSRP car, maybe even a lower payment period.

Yes, that is way too much for a Compass. You are close to Grand Cherokee 4xe numbers. The Compass does not lease well evidently.
