Jaguar F-Pace leasing poorly?

My wife and I are in the early stages of replacing her SUV, and she really likes the F-Pace. The dealership by us has over 100 of the 2017s in stock, so I figured with the 2018s starting to roll in, there may be some possibility for a deal to be had.

Our initial quotes (for 36/12) were:

Prestige:
MSRP: $55,700
Selling Price: $55,700
Drive-off: $1,500
Monthly: $901 (Tax rate is 6.85%)

R-Type Demo w/5k miles:
MSRP: $67,800
Selling Price: $65,600
Drive-off: $1,600
Monthly: $1,050 (Tax rate is 6.85%)

Obviously no discount (other than a small one on the demo), and it feels like they marked up the MF a fair amount on both. We were initially told there was a $1,000 discount on them, but then told that the discount ended, and there weren’t any other discounts or specials available.

This feels like one of the worst initial quotes I’ve ever received shopping for a car - does the F-Pace really lease this poorly?

Tell the dealer at such a great price you will have to take 2.

Yes, it does lease poorly due to high demamd for the car i guess.

NASTY!! Almost no discount. Move on to the next dealer.

You aren’t going to find any lease deals on these. It’s a new model with high demand, so very few discounts are offered and no incentives are available.

At that monthly price, you could get the Macan, the X5M, and maybe even a Cayenne as well as other high end SUVs, including Range Rover, Jaguar’s cousin This may be the worst lease quotes I’ve seen on this forum, hot car or not. OP, it’s not your fault but you would be wise to move along to another brand.

What state are you in? I’m in the same boat. About to wrap up mine. Same model. 560 including tax for 36/12k. These dealers are notorious for saying they’re all in when they’re not. Literally has taken me a month to get to this price playing odd multiple dealers.

We are in Utah, only one Jaguar dealership in the state, I think.

I think that’s the major issue

Be willing to travel to find a good deal

You mean move on to the next brand such as Porsche. The Cayenne is cheaper.

Anyone gotten any decent deals on those?

553 incl taxonly first month, licensing due, acquisition due at signing. 56k msrp. 12k/36. Took me two months of negotiating. Will post in a separate thread once numbers are finalized. Not a stellar deal compared to price, but the absolute best you’ll do on an F-Pace

That’s false. If you actually negotiate you’re not getting a similarly speced Macan or Cayenne cheaper.

What state are you in for that quote? I am looking in Southern California.

Little harsh and out of context, no?

I got the following but I dont think this is a good deal either

2018 Jaguar F-Pace 25T Premium

Market Value:50,613.00
Vehicle Price: 46,113.00
Dealer Discount: 4,500.00

JAGUAR CREDIT LEASE
Cash Down 36 M/10k 36 M/12k
2000 649.39 713.47
4000 591.48 654.31
5000 562.53 624.73
6000 533.58 595.14

tax not included

The only thing that will be poor in an F-Pace lease is your wallet. Jaguar will be the last one to be called “Poor” after taking you for a 3 year ride in those…

You’re better off leasing a Macan for that money for more car!

I don’t think Macans lease any better though. If you want a nice Jag or Porsche, you gotta pay to play.

553 for a 55k+ f pace. It’s doable. I have a thread on here. Search for it.

its 553 with taxes becomes 605 and with 6000 down makes the total price 28k + drive off fees etc. The math does not seem to be adding up here
