Can a dealer advertise a lease that says $0 down just drive offs then charge you a cap cost reduction in the drive offs to meet the ad payment? For example
MSRP $44,000
$349 plus tax
$0 down just drive offs
Must qualify for loyalty or add $1500 down payment

That doesn’t show the entire fine print, but what is your question? What is the dealer quoting you?
It says you need to qualify for the incentive which then will result in a zero drive off. If you don’t qualify for incentive you need to pay the $1500 which yes technically isn’t zero drive off.
I had them send me the breakdown, I’ll attach it…my question is they say drive offs only.
They could say drive offs only $99 payment 0 down then charge a huge down…seems illegalTrue but I do qualify and they are still charging cap cost reduction
That’s why you need the fine print. $19xx in drive-offs can be right if it includes acq fee, 1st month, taxes, title and registration.
It would be great if anyone could read this (I’m on a computer and it’s too small and sideways).

I’m confused how they are getting the $349 payment.
Would I be paying a $524 cap cost reduction with the $19xx down?
It depends what fees they’re including in the drive off amount.
I guess it’s a movement of numbers, calculated it and it sure looks as if I’m paying a cap cost reduction but I have no acq fee 
I’m also asking for the $3500 in rebates breakdown because I might have additional rebate/incentives. It only says you need to qualify for loyalty, I do. Im sure the $1000 national included.

I’m looking at Edmunds and I might actually have $5k In incentives/rebates if I can apply all the count this would be a sick deal! They have it at $3500
i looked @ the deal structure. you’re paying the acq fee upfront.
