I have a lease offer on a 2025 Kia Telluride SX Prestige X-Pro in Southern California. It’s a 36/10, 66% residual, .0025 Money Factor, MSRP $56,195, $1,050 manufacturer lease cash, and my local tax is 8.75%. With just paying first month drive off the monthly would be $741. Is that a good deal? I’m new to this so if you need more info or I have wrong info please let me know. Thank You
What’s your sales price before the rebates? Good lease deals feature some combination of great dealer discount, low interest rate and lots of rebates. This deal doesn’t seem to have any of that. Tellurides in general have proven to be a better financing option than a lease, at least historically.
I can beat this

I was told the MSRP is $56,195 and the sale price is $2,000 off of MSRP, so Sale Price is $54,195 before the $1,050 manufacturer lease cash. I’m also told that their invoice price is $53,909. Thank you for your time and help!
Nvm I just ran it. This is good for Kia. Good deal
This is like 3.5% off. Not a good deal. @cookieco333 check marketplace or signed to see what the market is like in CA, but for example Autocompanion is doing 11% off these.
You’ll want to run your target deal in a calc to see if this is “hackable” even with a substantial discount, bc Telluride’s have historically been better purchase options given the lack of strong lease programs.
Yeah, CA dealers on kia aren’t discounting tellurides more than $2500. Especially w buy rate and no ads. It’s not a good lease deal whatsoever. But the average market on this trim is $2,000-$2,500 off.
You’re better off buying it.
An unhacked lease is a terrible waste of money. Add up the sum of all your payments, then double it. That’s what you’re gong to spend over 72 months and get 0 equity out of it.
Vs the same payments over the same time frame would give you a ton of equity if you financed it.
Definitely a finance. Or lease a car that actually leases well. Palisade isn’t the best lease either but it leases much better than this and has a decent amount of lease cash.
As I said I am new to all this, so thank you for your honest input. The reason I’m looking for this type and size SUV is because we like to snow ski and get outdoors in the mountains during the summers. Can you suggest an SUV that would be a good lease hack for those weather & road conditions, size for gear, with good comfort & safety features, and in the same price range or even a little higher? Thank you for your time and help!

Mazda CX90 PHEV is really the only one that’s truly hackable right now, esp at 24m
Lordy, $750 to ride in a Telluride? You probably can get into a LandCruiser at this price point.
