Is this a reasonable lease deal?

Honda Odyssey EXL- MSRP 42220. Quoted for 504/month. 39/12. Zero down. Taxes fees rolled into the payment. Residual is $ 30398.50 which looks steep to me. State is NJ.

We’d need a lot more information to know whether this is a good deal or not. What’s the discount off MSRP they are giving you? Are there any rebates or incentives you’re eligible for? What’s the MF? What do you mean the RV “looks steep”? The RV is set by Honda, not the dealership, so the dealership can’t mess with it.

If you don’t understand all of the above then you should either work with a lease broker or step back and learn more about leasing. I will also DM you a leasing basics sheet.

Practice using the below to put your numbers in…and then use target discount, base MF, etc to put together a target deal for the term/DAS you want.

I think your effective would be less if you bought and sold 3 years later. I don’t think it would depreciate $20k in that time but no guarantees I guess.

I buy and trade in odysseys every 3/4 years and do ok.

Minivans haven’t been hackable in a long time. You’re better off owning for 4 or more years rather than doing consecutive 3yr leases.

Thank you . I will try to use this. But agree, minivans are tough on leases.
