Is this a good lease deal?
2020 Chevy Equinox LT AWD
MSRP: $30,515
Zip code: 07747
$308 per month for 36 months, all taxes and fees included in this price. First month’s payment is the only thing due at signing. 15,000 miles a year.
I’m trading in my 2018 Ford Fiesta SE but they’re offering me what I owe on that vehicle so I’m saving about $665 in tax. Thanks for all your help!
Have you gotten a quote from Carvana, Vroom, etc for the Fiesta?
What is the sales price and your incentive details?
I check those websites and they’re offering roughly the same for the vehicle but I’m making out better by saving on tax.
MSRP: $30,515
Sale price: $28,433.18 plus tax, doc ($75), plates
Added a remote start system- $375
Rebates: $750
They are waving my inceptions so I only have to come up with the first months payment.
$308 monthly for 36 months 15,000 miles a year. Everything is included in the $308 monthly payment and no hidden fees
What are the incentives???
Have you also looked at Terrain?
Only incentives is the $750. I’m getting $250 bonus cash then $500 since my step dad worked at the GM plant
I have not looked into the terrain
Those incentives are really small. Check on Terrain.
There’s no incentive from your step dad working at GM that I can think of, I don’t get that one. Did they give you a printed out list?
I get employee pricing which is the sales price listed then the only incentives I qualify is for the $500 employee rebate and the $250 bonus cash. I was looking at the 2019 with a little less equipment but that was $303/month for 36 months and 15k miles. The 2019 had more incentives but still wasn’t as low as I thought. I will check on the terrain. Thanks!
Ah gotcha, yeah they sometimes have an extra $500 CCR if using any GMS or supplier code. If you have GMS, you can do way better than this. Take your time and look at all available options. Check on other trims of Equinox too for better incentives. Every trim may have a different incentive/RV/MF.
Went in to speak to GMC about the terrain. They are no where near the $308 a month that Chevy is offering. They are at $377 for 36 months 15,000 miles $0 down and only first months payment due at signing. I talked to 3 GMC dealers and $377 was the lowest quote I got.
Residual on the equinox is $17,698 or 58%
The money factor is .00061
What Terrain trim? What was RV MF and incentives? If you just want to blindly payment shop that’s fine but we can’t help with that.
Not sure what dealers you tried, but I see you live in Jersey. Try Hawthorne or Paramus Chevy dealers. I’ve personally leased from Hawthorne a Cruze and received an excellent price at that time.
Sorry I am new to the lease thing so I’m still trying to figure it out and ask them all the right questions. It is the 2020 GMC Terrain SLE AWD. MSRP: $31,890. Sale price: 29,809. Incentives: $2,500. Residual value was 56% and I didn’t get the money factor but I can call him and ask.
Your sales price seems weak. And the $375 isn’t residualized. You’ll do better off with a FWD Equinox with Confidence and Convenience package IMHO
I tried Hawthorne but he was giving me a 2019 Chevy equinox AWD LT base model with only the remote start added for $303/month for 36 months with $0 down and only first months payment due at signing. The incentives were really nice at like $4,250 but the residual was 47%
I need the awd because I’m a nurse and need to get to work in all weather. Just feel more safe in a vehicle with awd/4wd which is why I’m upgrading from my current vehicle. I agree that the sales price seems weak but I’ve been haggling for 3 weeks with 10+ different dealerships. Even a couple out in PA
Jeep Compass is leasing seemingly well now too…
I saw so I went to 2 Jeep dealerships the other day but the minute you start going to 15,000 miles (which I need because I travel 60 miles a day for work alone) the lease gets crazy. Both jeeps were at $450/ mo for 39 months and $2500 down payment. I didn’t get the residual or MF because once I heard those numbers I was out. All the commercials make it sound really nice then you get there and it’s all these extra fees and a crazy amount due at signing
Nissan rogue?
