Is this a good deal on a 2016 BMW X1 xDrive28i?

Hi guys - before you kill me, I don’t have the selling price.

MSRP: 39,595
MF: .00114 (Coporate Fleet .00020 discount from base MF of .000134)
36 Month / 10K Miles
Monthly - 300

Cash on Delivery - $1950 (925 acq. fee, 300 first month, 295 DMV fee, 200 misc. dealer fees, 225 cap cost reduction)

I think that sounds like a very good deal based on what you provided. If you like the car i would get it.

A new X1 for $300/month?

which dealer are you working with?

@jcahse why not put down MSDs? you’d prob be closer to mid 200s if you do that?

Is $300/mo including taxes?

@chrisgo - yes it’s $300 per month including tax at a rate of 8.875.

@305Hackr - this dealership is in NY so no MSDs :frowning:

@gigdroid - i’ll let you know once the deal is complete. pm me

@jcahse take the numbers to a jersey dealer, don’t they allow MSDs?

I actually ended up getting another car from the same dealer.

NJ dealers couldn’t touch this deal, even with MSDs.

That seems like a great deal to me, I’m in the tri-state area and as you said NJ dealers I’ve spoken w so far have not touched this deal. Thanks for sharing. What did you end up getting if you don’t mind me asking?

This car ended up being sold so I was able to get my client what I think is a better deal. They just signed and picked up the car yesterday.

This is the deal in NY (keep in mind NY does not allow MSDs) - I contacted NJ and CT dealers and they weren’t able to even come close to this number though, even WITH MSDs.

MSRP - $44,045
36 Month / 15,000 Miles
Due At Signing - $3,000 (Acquisition Fee, Tax, DMV Fees, Dealer Fees, Minimal Cap Cost Reduction of >$60.00)
Monthly Payment - $362

And yes, I did charge my client a fee of $1,000 to find the fee. Still cheaper than any other dealer even when rolling that 1,000 (28 per month more over the course of 36 months making the payment 390)

Is that deal on the same model? Any packages or upgrades? Looks pretty good!

@Ntety it’s the same model X1 with AWD.

And yes, this is much more loaded. Almost $5,000 more in MSRP.

Included packages:

  • xLine Package
  • Premium Package
  • Driver Assistance Package
  • Cold Weather Package
  • Navigation

Wow now that is a SOLID deal. Is that for a 2017 X1? Latest quote I got was $449/mo ($3.3k down) 36mo/10k mi. MSRP $44k sale price $40k.

Thinking if I should venture out to NY for better luck. Thanks again for the insight and motivation to keep me looking for a better deal.

Thank you! It was for a 2016. Didn’t even look at the 2017 because of the warranty and the fact that the 16 had better residuals and incentives.

PM me if you are looking for a good deal on BMW. I don’t do this for free but it may be worth your while even with my fee?

Your time is not free – $28/mo ($1k spread out in 36 months) seems like a good deal if you are saving at least that per month. Might not work for the $100/mo Volt but certainly most of the cars being discussed here

Plus, you are up front about your fee – “no surprises” – so all is good!

Haha that’s right. Time is money! It doesn’t work on all cars but it does on the good ones
