Rookie here looking for advice if this is a good offer or if I should wait?
2024 Ford Lightning XLT Lease $437 month, 24 months, 15k miles per year, first month payment plus 900 due at signing. 65k window sticker
I’m in Michigan and I qualify for employee a-plan. I’d prefer the flash trim but those don’t seem to lease out for as good of a deal. Thanks!
I’d prefer the extended battery but feel like I could get by with the standard. I plan on using the vehicle for mostly back and forth to work (20 miles each way) and I have access to a free charger at work. The quote I got for a Flash was $675 per month, with 1400 due at signing (first month payment plus tax on the rebates, etc). That’s the same terms as the XLT, 24 months with 15k miles per year. The 36 month lease (which I’d be fine with too) dropped the Flash down to $598. The flash costing $238 more per month on the 24 month lease and $169 per month more for the 36 month lease seems like a lot.
Guys, I got the same deal last month on a $69K MSRP vehicle. 2024 XLT lease: $313/month, 12K miles/year, 24 months, $0 out of pocket. I posted my deal last month I was hoping someone could to better.
Thanks! I checked out your post. I’m not sure how to go about replicating your deal. Did you ever figure out the details? I’m also in no hurry so if there has been much better deals (like yours) I’m fine with waiting. Thanks!
This is an a-plan deal so not much to evaluate. It’s a fixed discount. Given you are an employee I would hope the dealership is not hitting you with add-on fees or a MF markup, but given your number seems high for a-plan, we would need to see the full deal sheet to know for sure. 24months and 15K miles a year aren’t doing you any favors here, so it will be hard to compare to a broker default offer.
With an aggressive discount and a maxed-out rebate stack you can get the flash right around $500/mo. XLT should be under $400/mo to make sense.
Thanks for the advice. I wouldn’t be against a 3 year lease (or even a possible purchase) but need the extra miles. I thought a-plan would be the best deals but it sounds like there are some people getting better deals without it.
