no money down, and get under 1% of MSRP.
Here was a pricing error from my local dealer. They have confirmed it was a mistake, but was fun for a few hours:
Wow quick response.
New to the whole leasing thing. Good reminder about no money down and 1%.
I looked up all these rules then completely forgot while I was there in person.
Sadly people go for these deals all the time.
Ask them for residual and money factor so you can see if they messed with them. Math looks off… price is $35k and residual is $20k, so $15k depreciation over 36 months is $416/mo… what other fees are they charging… ask for all the numbers. If they won’t tell you then walk out. Leasing comes down to math - money factor, price and residual.
Thanks for the tips. I will ask for those points tomorrow.
So I switched to look at a XLT but I was able to get more detailed numbers:
However, when I plug the data into the lease calculator with the Ford MF I found online (.000625) it should look like this:
Two questions:
Did I fill out the calendar correctly?
Is that the right for money factor for Southern California on an Explorer XLT?
The dealer claims that the lease is set at .005 APR
A Ford Explorer probably isn’t going to lease well in a first place. If you want a cheap lease on an SUV of that type, look at a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
I just leased a 2018 Explorer XLT today.
MSRP= $41,250
Total out of Pocket= $680
13,500 miles per year lease
Ford A Plan Code
Conquest incentive
202A Package = Leather, Nav, Auto start, etc…
4WD
Payment = $340 a month for 36 months
He also had the EXACT SAME TRUCK in 2WD for $290 with 680 due at signing. I wanted the 2WD but my wife insists on 4WD because she thinks it’s fun to throw $50 a month in the garbage can. Happy wife, happy life. The 2WD was the best deal at $290 but the loaded 4WD at $340 with 13.5K miles a year is still killer.
The truck is black on black. I’m happy with the deal.
Where are you and this deal located sounds sweet
I just leased an explorer. Do 36 months on all there leases because of warranty. There is some cash the dealer has 500 dollar vouchers. Ask them for them. Also there is a horse magazine you can sign up for that will get you 500 towards ford and farm bureau in your local area will get you another 500. I couldn’t use these offers because I am a plan.
Look at the XLT with appearance package. It looks just like the sport but way less in cost. I got appearance, 202 package with class 3 hitch, 2nd row buckets. I pay 447 month with 0 down and 12k per year.
I will ask my salesman if I can post his info here. Im sure he wont care. I’m located in Michigan.
I can also say that my deal should be easy for anyone to get. Just have a Ford Employee code ready. I did not have to haggle much at all. The salesman told me fair prices straight up. To get my deal, it took me only about 5 minutes of talking. Literally. In 5 minutes I had my loaded truck. It was very easy. I was actually surprised.
The only other time I remember such a painless deal was when I got my fully loaded ScatPack Charger for $400 on a sign and drive. He asked me how much I wanted to pay. I said $400 with 0 due at signing with my employee FCA discount code. Then he said OK and I ordered it right at his desk lololololool.
Wow, that’s a great deal.
Know how to to get A-Plan pricing? I’m in Southern California and don’t know many Ford Employees who could share a discount code
^^^^^^^^^^. I will pm you
With tax ? 2020202020202020
There lies the caveat, unless Ford throws employee codes out like candy.
With 6% MI tax all included
Could you send detailed #s? Have d plan code looking to replicate this deal. Thanks!
