Friend wants to buy a new Accord, just wanna know if there is an equivalent site like this but for vehicle purchases?
The same brokers and dealer can sell you the vehicle, instead of leasing. All you have to do is to reach out to them and find out. The selling price is the selling price, though incentives can vary between leasing and purchasing.
Right, I mostly wanted to compare deals etc.
Best bet might be the user forum for that specific vehicle. DriveAccord.net would be a good starting point to see what types of deals people report.
That, and any “prices paid” threads you can find on Edmunds forums.
The reason buyhackr doesn’t exist: buying is relatively simple. You shop around for the lowest selling price. If financing, you also shop around for the lowest rate.
To make it easier for you on the Accord:
Currently there is $500 dealer cash only on leases, and a $500 incentive for Conquest or Loyalty.
If you get quoted on a lease you will have to raise the selling price by $500 if you want to buy it instead
Honda offers very low APR on Accord purchases so its very unlikely that you will have to use outside financing
It’s .9% apr for 60 and 1.9 for 72 right now if I’m most mistaken right?
Yeah I saw that, but that’s all I found. And $500 for loyalty
For the Accord Honda has their purchase APR dependent by region, OP can check Honda.com and put in their zip code
Just switched to national 0.9 for 60 on 11/16 for mid month enhancement.
I would approach a purchase exactly the same way I approach leasing… Research pre-incentive discounts, research manufacturer programs for incentives, research financing options, make offer.
Basically the same thing as leasing a car when there are multiple bank options.
