Does timing within the month also make a difference when leasing? That is, it’s allegedly better to car shop at the end of a month. Is that true for leasing?
If you are okay with taking whatever we have to offer and can pick up immediately or at least sign today, sure.
If you want to be picky and or have time constraints, absolutely not.
Yes and no.
For commodity cars that are being pushed by their manufacturers (and therefore dealers are trying to hit those volume bonuses) you might see an extra push. Right now it’s mostly EVs that are in that category.
For gas cars occasionally a loaner on a higher end car might hit the Marketplace with no pattern to the timing and that might be better than any end-of-month deal on that car.
Then there’s the rest, which mostly aren’t good lease candidates, and end of month makes no meaningful difference, bad deals are still bad deals.
