Is anyone having luck with Lyriq trims OTHER than Tech or Lux1’s?

I am in NorCal, but this question is for anyone nationwide.

I am very interested in a Cadillac Lyriq, specifically the Lux 2 trim, not picky about color or additional options. All of the signed deals, how to’s, and brokers pertain to the Tech trim or Lux 1.

Is anyone having luck with other (higher) trims? If so can you post your deal and specifics? Thank you!

No one’s getting those because GM isn’t bumping the RV on the higher trims to the same extent as they are the lower trims so they are much more expensive.

Someone posted one in the low $500s so it can be had with some work.

RV on a sport 2 is 75% which is good.

I got a LUX 2 @ 445

Anything down other than 1st month?

2k down total

That’s what I’m looking for. You’re paying effectively $528 and some change a month, I’m getting a $688/month offer but believe I can get it closer to yours. That difference would pretty much pay for insurance.

Can you post the calculator for your target deal on a lux 2 if you assume the same discount percent as people are getting on lux 1s?

You are aware he got Education, Conquest, NY Rebate, and Costco right?

You are in CA so Add a Min of $200/month due to CA taxes. So that 445 is more like 645.

If comparing different States, stick with % off MSRP, someone posted that it’s near 7% off MSRP with a ton of rebates.

To get to 730 what % off MSRP did you get offered?

Actually taxes here are less than NY. I was at 5% off msrp plus another $8k off for Costco, conquest, with another $4k. I was going off memory and put $750 but it actually breaks down to $688/month.

So you are at 5%, keep pushing for 7% and your deal will equal his.

And No, East Coast EVs vs West Coast EVs are extremely price different. For example the rebate was 9000 I believe for the NY one

Edit, the bottom doesn’t add up, it’s $700 short.

Can you elaborate? If we were talking about taxes, I see my paperwork shows 8.75% and the other poster jessherman posted in another thread they are at 8.875%.

Just curious, as it doesn’t make any difference one way or another. Just wondering if this is the only difference or if there is something else. Thanks.

There are 2 differences

  • Off MSRP
  • Rebates

He got more than you on both due to his state. Your quote also is missing something (such as other Sales Tax) as in CA they usually tax Rebates

You can negotiate for more off MSRP, the Rebates cannot change unless you pull something special that wasn’t counted before.

Well that makes a lot of sense as the dealer I got this car from said it was a one-off deal and won’t happen again. It was a -4k deal. All they get is a flat. With all of these leasehackr people who don’t know what they’re doing reaching out…it only hurts the market for those that actually know what they are doing.

Got it. Thanks. We would also qualify for the educator discount, and my work has a $1k affiliate code, although I’m unsure those two stack. The dealer did not include that in the quote for some reason.

Not having much luck either in socal. Really want one with supercruise. Just posted the best deal I found so far over here: New Cars for Sale - Leads from LHers! - #2244 by jamakinjoel

Wasn’t low enough for me to bite

Honestly, while the RV difference from Lux 1 to Lux 2 seems insignificant, that combined with the MSRP difference really do hurt the numbers. Further, there are far fewer, if any 2 and 3 trims that qualify for the extra $2k vin specific rebate.
