Ioniq 5 limited or EV6 GT line 15k mile lease what does a good deal in the southeast look like?

So I’m in the Charleston metro area and I’ve been lease shopping for the past couple weeks. That’s included researching on here and working with dealers in my surrounding area reaching out through true car and auto trader. I have noticed there’s a lack of brokers who service this area on the forum and the dealerships are a pretty mixed bag. I’ve had some success with a dealer in Savannah and Jacksonville but I’m just not sure what a good deal looks like in this region as there just isn’t a ton of data to go off of.

So I guess I have 2 questions what’s a good deal look like on the models and trims above in this region? Secondly, is there a broker that actually works in the SC area that I can work with?

For context this is the deal I’m thinking about taking on an EV6 GT-Line RWD

No discount at all? bleh
And 1198 Doc Fee? Florida sucks, get a broker from out of state

That’s actually a 7% discount off MSRP but this is like round 4 of negotiation and I’m dealing with a manager now.

Any recs on brokers who service this region thus far I’ve struggled to find any.

You getting 7% and they giving you 9000 for your trade in? Well that’s another story.

This guy is a broker, contact him and see

Talk to him about your trade in.

Look at the 24 month term

Thanks for this advice! I got the numbers and they are slightly cheaper with a shorter time commitment!!

Added latest deal sheet with 24 month numbers

You are rolling negative $1K into the new lease at a 6% interest rate. The dealer is taking advantage of the tax saving to make you think you are getting a good deal on the trade. My guess is your trade is worth much more than they are allowing. What is the MSRP of the vehicle you are looking at leasing?

55085 is the MSRP. My trade-in is actually pretty close to a wash for them. Similar vehicles are going for 22-24k nationwide at dealer rate. Now there may be a trade in allowance they aren’t disclosing that they are using on the back end but a 2020 sonata limited at 21.5k is a solid deal.

Find a dealer/broker in Northern Virginia area and fly up/drive back. 8 hour drive at most. I think Autocompanion is up there. You’ll get a much better deal than any dealer in SC. Mount Pleasant resident here. Won’t even walk into a local dealership. No matter the brand.

You are spot on, I moved here from the 7 cities area of VA and the dealer service, sales, customer service is just night and day. The deal I have above is from Florida so I can drive down in my trade in and drive back in my new EV6. I will take a look at Autocompanion and see what deals they are offering. Newbie question here… do you have to return a leased vehicle to the same dealer you got it from?

little light on the discount ask for more hopefully over 5%

Decided I didn’t want to drive to Florida and was able to get a dealer in GA to match terms on an Ioniq 5 with less junk fees but less discount.
