TLDR: Chris is the bomb & the deal he got me was incredible.
Since around Feb/Mar, I’ve enjoyed reading all the posts about the deals everyone was getting. It seemed E/V was the way to go, but in the back of my mind, I’ve always wanted an X5 but kept reading how poorly they were leasing for + no Texas lease credits). A few weeks ago, I posted a few pics of my home and asked for opinions on getting an EV charger installed; the consensus was that it wasn’t going to be cheap to get what I needed for a Level 2 charger. The consensus of the 3 eletricians upgrading my electric box was going to cost $5K, or more. Chris did reach out directly, after I said that $5K can go towards a down payment. Admittedly, that night was fueled by Fireball and who doesn’t make responsible comments on booze lol … I figured why not use that $5K towards an X5, but I’d been stalking LH & hadn’t seen a “deal” posted that I liked. He sent me a few builds, and to my surprise, they were discounted well above what I’d seen posted on here previously. Well, Fireball got the best of me that morning (1 am, I think & I passed out on our convo).
I spoke with Chris a few days later & apologized for ghosting him the night before and told him I would reach out to the electrician & will keep him up to date on my decision to move forward. About a week later, I decided it wasn’t worth the $5K to upgrade my panel so I reached out to Chris again to relay a list of my wants and not even 20 minutes later, he sent me a description of my dream car, for an amazing % off (more than I’ve seen on here, for any state) + and additional $4K off for military discount. It was towards the end of the month, too, so I know he & his dealer were likely swamped! I’ve only had it for a few days, but I cannot stop thinking about how beautiful it is & how lucky I was when he responded to my electric panel post. I assumed the only “deals” were those that were posted, but I was wrong!
If you’re reading this, and contemplating whether to reach out to Chris/IAC, but hesitant due to whatever reason, don’t procrastinate. From my Fireball fueled night until a week or so later when I was ready to pull the trigger, Chris put up with a ton of questions from me, some technical issues on my end, and I never at all felt compelled or pressured to purchase. I would purchase from Chris without a second thought next time.
