Currently interested in the 2021 Infiniti Q60 Red Sport. Spoke with two local dealerships and I am leaning towards it being both, just a terrible car to lease but also a bit of a run around.
Fees
736 first pay
749 doc fee
411 plates
1779 taxes
700 aquitision fees
4375 total
I mentioned to the second dealer that I inquired about a car that retailed for $2,000 more and that their selling price was actually lower and his response was basically that the best they could do is match the sales price of the first car, still not something I would agree to.
I’ll probably lean towards possibly leasing an M440 but just was looking for some advice here. Thanks
I had no target deal to be honest, but both offers seem very high. I believe the only incentive is a $2,000 loyalty for current lessees, which I am eligible for. Another reason why I feel like I am getting the runaround because they seem to be included that in the percentage off the sale price and not in addition to.
Q60s are really terribly expensive to lease. They hardly get any incentives and even if they do, you still be paying at least 500-600 minimum. Q50s on the other hand is way cheaper to lease.
That’s what I said, but I still need to do my research to see what else is out there comparable. If I can do much better on an M440 then its a no brainer. but if this is the reality then ill need to reconsider. I am set on a coupe though, ive wanted one the last 3 leases and I always jumped on the better deal (a sedan).
Learn to calculate your lease based on vehicle msrp, incentives, residual, MF, taxes and fees and then determine what dealer discount from msrp is achievable based on other deals on this forum and calculate the minimum discount to get what you want.
A 66k car with a 52% residual is a $32,000 depreciation cost at base.
Your job is to drop that depreciation by getting all the incentives you qualify for and get an achievable discount.
Taxes, fees, acq and money factor won’t change Unless there’s a markup or buy down
I have a Q50 RS, and like you said, I do believe the M440 is a better car all around, but visually I do really like the 21 Q60 RS. If it came down to the two, I’d most likely choose the lower monthly unless they were very similar.
Yes, visually, I completely agree, it’s a purty car and I def recall getting a lot of looks when I first got it back in early 2017. That said, what drove me mad about the car, aside from the tech or lack thereof in the interior, was the crappy 7A JATCO - it completely handicaps the robust VR engine. And then the handling was definitly a let down, was certainly not befitting of a sporty car.
The M340i on the other hand excels in most of these mentioned areas. I didn’t hate the Q60 per say, but it just fell short in some critical areas for me.
All that said, I still love the way a proper Q60 looks.
I don’t understand how anybody drives an Infiniti in the year 2021 and after comparing it to everything else on the market decided to get the Infiniti.
And this is coming from somebody that leased a Q50 back in 2015.
I’ve been serially buying the identical pair of sandals for as long as I can remember.
The insole lining is the Achilles heel (if you’ll pardon the expression) on these things, so I’ve created a template out of cardboard that’s shaped and sized exactly like the insoles…
So armed with that, scissors, a pair of jeans that no longer fit, and some Elmer’s glue, I can breathe another couple of years of life into each pair when the insole inevitably starts to disintegrate.
There are probably better sandals out there, but they’re extremely comfortable, and every time I order a pair I know exactly what to expect when they arrive.
