Infiniti Q50 3.0t Luxe AWD demo Discount Question

What discount should I be targeting on a 2018 INFINITI Q50 3.0T LUXE AWD demo with 4,400 miles. Am I trying for 18-20% + $4650 in incentives? Or is that not reasonable?

20% for a loaner is absolutely reasonable. This is what a used 2018 Q50 goes for.

Thank you for the info. I used two examples to strengthen why I wanted more. The car I am looking at has the essential package, so it is worth a little more.

I showed them an almost identical model, just different color that is for sale for $28k with 12,000 miles. Argument against me was the demo is still new and this one would then be used and I would be the second owner instead of the first. I was told that accounts for about $4,000. So, I was saying that would make the demo worth $32k, but they will not budge of $35k.

So, I decided to move on.

Does not matter how they phrase it, a car with that many miles, is a used car. We got a $14,000 discount on a brand new Q50 RS with 60 miles on it. They better give you a better discount, if you can get a used 2018 3.0t for $23,477.

Don’t want to get too off topic here but, how did you go about finding infiniti demo cars? Very easy to find BMW demo/loaners, but I don’t see many for infiniti.

For Infiniti, it is really hard. Go to cars.com, and search NEW Infiniti in 250mi radius, but look for 2018 models. Those have excellent prices usually (use the sort by “lowest price” first).

i can only think of one time someone on this forum leased a demo. It’s not a matter of “finding” one, it’s a matter of the dealer willing to lease one.

^this. I’m on my second Infiniti now…needless to say I have shopped MANY. I don’t recall ever hearing of a demo Infiniti being leased out. My dealer that I typically work with does a great job of sourcing me a (cheap) vehicle, and he has never even mentioned a demo.
