Infiniti minimum credit score?

Is there a minimum credit score that you need (specifically for Infiniti) before they decide that they will NOT lease you a car?

It seems like the minimum credit score is 700. We were just going to use MSDs to get the MF down. We were almost done (signing day today) with a Q50 with Tustin Infiniti but fell out because credit score was less than 700 (approx 650, didn’t get the exact number). Are there any other options that does not require a co-signer?

The score below is due to lack of credit history (young) and not due to derogatory factors

They use experian.
Tier1-3 same MF. (At least 690)

This is something people do not understand on credit.

Score is mostly useless - it’s what’s behind the score that matters (something…something…corny love yourself line).

If you have a 650 based on little (like you’ve stated) it’s likely to get denied.

If you’re looking for a luxury lease @chrisgo, look into Lexus, Cadillac or Lincoln.

They all have financial arms that buy deep.

What do you mean by ‘buy deep’? Are you referring to the ability to maintain top MF into lower Fico Scores?

Thanks!
Erik

Buying deeps means their respective, financial companies are willing to buy ‘less’ qualified applicants.

GMF, FMC and TYF have all been known to take just about any deal - with few exceptions.

I’ve had people get bought on bankruptcy @ D tier with GMF before.

A friend of mine who leased a Spark EV with GM Financial, they pulled her Experian at a 640 auto, only reason her score was so low was because of a few maxed credit cards, no negative information at all. And she was able to get Tier 1. So I think it’s a YMMV thing.

What about Hyundai as a “buy deep” brand? Seems like there is $2,500 lease cash available. Are you in CA?

We started with Camaro $385/mo for $30k MSRP (no thanks) then quickly moved to the Infiniti Q50.

So now, looking at what is the next possibility – as close to 300HP as possible, 2-door (4-door on Q50 was acceptable), best value for under $300/mo (our Infiniti Q50 deal was $700 drive-off, 39/12k, $284/mo+tax so slightly over $300 with tax)

Tier isn’t based on score - it’s an algorithm.

It takes into account a bunch of things but the big ones are

1). DTI (Debt to Income)
2). LTV (Loan to Value
3). Time on job
4). Time @ residence

There are other things like history, payment history and such but those are the major ones,

Does anyone know how Mercedes-Benz Financial Services looks at a person’s credit?

…with two eyes

Touche! Let’s try this one. I am planning on running a lease through my company (LLC). Does that matter? I’m assuming that ultimately I am personally liable regardless of whether the lease is in the company’s name or in my name. Is that correct?

I have this exact question, too.

Does an LLC have its own credit score?
How do car leases analyze this?

Yes companies have ‘credit’ scores.

If the company is well established, have a line of credit or something similar they will be on the credit radar.

The financial company might ask for proof of income aka a rolling 12, but that is rare.

If you’re a guarantor on the loan - yes.

Ally requires this, US bank does not.

I’m not sure about Mercedes financial.

Not ignoring you! Needed to eat before I went into this!

Almost any brand is going to have lease cash - so it’s dependent on what you want.

I’d have to think about a 300 hp vehicle with 2 doors and under $300.

Hyundai/Kia are often sub prime lenders so yes, they buy deep.

I find it much easier to lease the vehicle personally instead of through LLC (LLC has 14 year history) as things become “more difficult” specially if you are not in the actual transportation business (for example, you already have delivery vans/trucks) as insurance may cost more, etc. You can still have your accountant deduct the lease for tax purposes.

I’m not sure what you mean by “are you in CA’”…?

Are your services available in California?

I’m in every state  Well, the lower 48 to be exact.

Be forewarned though, I’ve only got two or three stores in CA, that’s I’ve worked with.

Mazda, VW and CDJR.

I’m going to roll out a little update on my services come tomorrow 10 am EST, through my newsletter.

Thank you @chrisgo and @Benedetto. I appreciate the insight.
