It means ifs is no longer involved. Their interest in the vehicle is over.
I have returned my Infiniti 2 years ago but paid my end of lease charge late due to the dispute mentioned in this thread.
After two years the loan is still showing open in one of the credit agencies with no late payment. It is showing closed on the other two agencies.
Is this a big deal? What should I do?
Nissan does not waive the first $500 of charges like Honda does?
If you stay loyal, they do. If you drop it off and lease/buy another brand, they don’t.
Honda the first $500 is automatic, it is a $1000 of damage if you lease again
