Hello,
I signed up for Infiniti Elite Platinum with Lease End Protection Plan ($900) while leasing QX60 for 39 months,
Plan covers:
- 24-hour roadside assistance
- Paint less Dent Repair
- Lease End protection benefit (up to $1550)
- Tire and wheel Protection
Flat tire Coverage
Tire Replacement
Wheel/rim protection
Mounting/Balancing and taxes
Covered road hazard
- Wind shield Repair protection (chips and cracks)
Questions:
-
Is this plan worth to keep? I have 1-2 month to cancel it. I am leasing for first time hence no clue on added benefits. it seems plan is offered by Infinti but provider is Nation Motor club, Florida. Is this legit company? Infiniti customer service told me it is their plan (after doing some digging)

Its been 25 days and I have not received and paper work from them so i called Infiniti and they emailed me the paper work. i am bit annoyed by it. As this company did not care to send me the detail plans coverage.
-
I made extra plan payment using credit card however I was told, if i cancel the plan I can not get the money until lease ends by finance guy, how normal is that?.
-
On an average, how much people usually pay (assuming car is maintained/driven properly/safely) when they return the Infiniti lease?
Thanks
- Entirely up to you. If you tend to scuff up wheels, run over random objects causing punctures it may be worth it. Infiniti will waive up to 500 in damages by default when you return you car IF you plan on leasing another Nissan or Infiniti. This plan gives you an extra 1k and/or provides some help should you switch brands at the end. In my opinion, I think these things are wastes of money. In the 20+ years I’ve been leasing cars, I would never have used them, so I’m waaaaaaay ahead should I blow a tire or scuff up a rim paying out of pocket. Some people like the extra peace of mind. Ultimately, you have to decide if it’s worth it to you or not.
A lot of times F+I will sell you on this plan by telling you that you can return the tires bald at the end of the lease and not get dinged…so for 900 bucks, you can get the extra benefits as well along with not having to pay for tires. What they don’t tell you, however, is that it’s pretty dangerous to drive on bald tires not only for you, but for everyone around you as well. They also don’t tell you that if you should need tires at 32 months, you either roll the dice on driving on bald tires for 7 months, or you buy tires to get you through…thus making the insurance policy moot.

Not sure what the question is…this is just a statement

If you paid by CC, they should refund you right away if it’s cancelled (within a reasonable timeframe). If they don’t, dispute the charge with your CC.
Thanks!
I have 8 year old so we do tend to mess up interior. I am assuming we will have some dents that will need repairs. I do not need 24-hour assistance as my credit card company/auto insurance offers it.
I am not entirely sure if wheel or windshield protection needed as I never had those issues in past. We mostly do city (safe) driving but who knows. Its a chance I can take. $900 feels like a steep price to pay.
On an average, how much people usually pay (assuming car is maintained/driven properly/safely) when they return the Infiniti lease?Knowing that number I can probably figure out if it is worthy keeping the plan.
Are there any cheaper after market alternatives people go for?
Question #2, Since there is no communication from the plan provider about what I havesignedup for (I was told I will receive paper work in mail) I had to call Infiniti concierge to get the contract. Hence, I am skeptical about their offering and coverage.
Unless you’re poking holes in the leather or putting your cigarettes out on the dash or spilling a gallon can of Cadmium Yellow on the carpet, you won’t get hammered for any interior issues. As long as the stain is removable, you don’t have any rips or tears and no cigarette burns you’ll be fine.
There’s no way to tell without asking Infiniti. I’ve never leased Infiniti but have Nissan. I can tell you they are very lenient on charges. My wife kissed the garage wall a few months before turn in. Local body shop wanted almost 2k for body work and repaint. Nissan charged less than 500 at inspection. Since she leased another Nissan, they waived 500 in damages, so voila…no charge. Had she moved brands, I would’ve had to pay the 500, which is the amount of my deductible to pay for the collision damage, but I would’ve paid Nissan to avoid the insurance claim anyways. TBH, I’ve never paid a dime at lease end on any of my cars, and although I take care of them, they always end up with the inevitable paint chip, scratch or dent. I’ve been leasing long enough to know what they charge excess for and what they do not. I suggest checking out Infiniti’s lease return guide and familiarize yourself with what they consider normal and excessive. That should give you a better understanding. It’s online somewhere, and you should be able to access it through your online account.
Thanks. I pulled the list(bit old). Hopefully, scratch etc should be covered by $1500 lease end protection however I think it is not worth it so I am cancelling it. just learned that $900 will not come to me but will go to lien holder i.e. Infiniti Financial Services. I will get it back when i turn in the lease.
I just went through the painstaking process of getting a refund on the end of lease tire protection. I initially thought (or was told) that I could replace the tires at any time once they get 4/32, not just the protection at lease end, which is not the case. The car came with run flats that almost certainly won’t make it for 39 months. At any rate, I finally received the refund. As you state, the refund goes back to IFS. However, I was given the option of applying the refund immediately or at the end. I chose immediately so I was able to skip a couple of payments.
Actually IFS did offer me to apply the credit towards the payment. It will reduce number of payments. This probably wont work because in event i want to do lease pull ahead, I probably will leave that money on the table. I can choose to not apply towards the payment and get it back at the end of the lease.
Do you have the same plan ‘Infiniti Elite Platinum with Lease End Protection Plan’, because my plan replaces tire only if non-repairable due to impact leads, snags, cuts, punctures or other road hazards.
I opted to apply to refund to my payments for the very same reason of possibly doing a pull ahead. My logic may not be sound, but I didn’t want the refund at the end to sort of muddy it up. If there is three payments left and Infiniti is offering a program to pull ahead three payments, then it would be easy math and the refund doesn’t sort of get lost in the transaction. Based on my dealings with IFS, I just didn’t want that confusion.
The lease end protection I had was only for tire protection at the end of the lease. It may have had the benefits you listed but I was looking more at the protection at the end of the lease.
