In market for Compact SUV dealers not bulging

I am looking to lease the cheapest AWD compact SUV. So far the lowest quote I have gotten is from Hyundai dealer for a Tucson SE AWD which I think is very mediocre. But dealer has completely stonewalled. Below is the quote

Below is the VIN in the quote:

Also I opened a Boostup account today but I see offer expires Jan 2nd, 2018. Any ideas if they will renew the offer?

So far I have gotten quotes for Nissan Rogue Sport, Toyota Rav4, Jeep Compass, Honda CRV all are worse than this. I am new to this first time leasing a car will appreciate help. I have a couple of weeks I can wait to get a car, my office is only a 7 min walk and for groceries doing uber currently. But weekends suck due to no car. I am in northern nevada area recently moved.

Hackers will appreciate your help.

I mean… That’s not too bad. They are giving you 14% off MSRP before rebates. That’s pretty solid. It’s just a low residual that’s hurting, there are some vehicles that are just tough to lease because of either a low residual, high MF, or lack of rebates/incentives. I can see why they aren’t budging much.

thanks for reply :grinning:

If you are willing to travel, you might be able to snag a great deal on a loaner/exec demo BMW X1. If the MSRP of this car for example, is over $45k, potential for a $200 a month lease right there.

Lotta BMW dealers being aggressive this month since BMW has given them good lease cash to use on loaners

I am open to traveling to sacremento to pickup the car. or couple of hours in any direction.

For a $25K SUV, $245/month with $0 out of pocket looks pretty good to me!

Might want to look into whether Hyundai’s Uber driver incentive works for leases.

Below is the VIN in the quote, You think I should offer $230:

Hi,

I will keep an eye on this thread as I am looking for the same vehicle as you, but I am in NJ.

Tom

@purduealum91 what is the dealer offering you in jersey? I moved from bergen county to NV

I rented Tucson last year and drove it for about a month.

Super light steering wheel that it felt dangerous on the freeway. I would never drive that vehicle on the freeway again.

Rogue was stable and tight. Just my two cents.

@MConte05 dealer told me he will not be able to give me the same starting Jan 1st 2018. He says 2k rebate will not be available starting next month. My boostup account is only 2 days old. Do you think I should wait until it’s 30 days old or the dealer is bluffing or I will actually lose a deal by waiting till Jan 20th (thats when my boost up account will give me $500 match for downpayment).

Given most of your discount is in rebates, he may be right. They are factory incentives. Might there be another $2000 incentive next month that just replaces the current one? Maybe. Who knows. That’s the game we play.

The extra $500 boostup would amount to $14 a month, while the potential $2k rebate loss might be $56. Your call.

One thing to do is go back and look on the edmunds forums and see if they had similar incentives in January of last year compared to December of 2016.

Thats not anywhere near a 200 p/m lease.

Rav4s lease pretty well. Fully loaded XLE leases for about 250ish…12 percent of msrp, 60 rv , 1250 lease Cash for 30k vehicle. M.

Smalltrader…

I haven’t talked with any dealer yet mainly because my lease doesn’t expire for another 9 months and I do not want to roll any current payments into a new lease.

Manisshnachnani…

How about a RAV 4 Hybrid?
