For the Chicagoland market they are great deals with every car being sold below invoice plus incentives.

Lets look at one…what’s the sales price on STK #43622 before incentives, and what incentives are you applying in that quote?

MSRP: 44835
Invoice: 42375
Selling Price: 41375 (8% off MSRP)
Incentives: 3000

Really bruh – Just use the search function and you will see what the 3 series goes for. You are marketing to very educated leasegurus

I realize most of you are on the East/West coast and have different regional programs and dealer discounts due to demand and volume. I can only use the regional programs available from BMW plus I am selling the cars listed for below market value in my region. Plus all of these are well equipped with xDrive. Anyone shopping in the Midwest market will realize these are aggressive offers.

East/West coast dealers discount 9 to sometimes 12% off before incentives…there’s where the issue lies. It’s not the programs per se…it’s the dealer contribution.

Chicago here: these are absolutely atrocious even for Chicagoland. That is unless you are including the Chicago lease tax. If these are your deals PRE tax, then you are posting on the wrong forum.

I have sold hundreds if not close to a thousand vehicles in this market so I am confident in my ability to price them correctly. Using the 530i as an example, TrueCar has the market average at $57,379 for a 530i with the same equipment and I am selling this car for almost $1700 below the market average.

Also if you live in Chicago, I would suggest an owner’s choice (aka balloon finance) to avoid being double taxed.

Dealers in this area are not typically discounting cars past invoice, so anything above 6% is rare. All of the deals I have above are in the 8% area.

These are not stellar deals. A 3 series for $450 with tax & fees due at signing. We are not like 99% of your customers.

An 8% discount seems very light to me. A few months ago I was able to snag a 340 for 12% off before incentives. I would be more aggressive with your deals. There are a few brokers on here that can service your area and will easily beat what your offering.

Most of us use the 1% rule as well which we use as a guide.

What market are you in that you were able to get 12% off?

Also I have never found the 1% rule to be accurate in my region especially with raising rates and MSDs disappearing. For example, both of our Geniuses just leased $23,000 Civics for just over $300/mo and they both got great deals (they shopped every dealer in a 200 mile radius and my buddy who worked at Honda helped).

I acknowledge that other dealers outside of of our region might offer larger discounts. If someone in my market wants to deal with an East/West Coast dealer, more power to them. But I am offering aggressive lease deals for my region.

William, with all due respect I am a broker in the Chicago area, and these prices arent the best.

To the normal consumer they may be good deals but when posting to the marketplace you have to realize everyone here is an educated consumer on leasing/buying. With the ability to compare and contrast deals in other regions.

The discounts aren’t deep enough. You will get nowhere here by arguing with everyone, it will only make you and your dealer group look bad!

Tell your geniuses to contact me, I was doing Civics last month in the low 200’s, ex models in the 230’s.

Yes with $0 down, taxes included, first month doc and plates due.

I say this with love brother, dont argue with folks on here, it will not end up well!

I wish you the best on this site!

Hi Will Welcome!

Possibly working off of loaner’s and demo’s would be a better choice, It is difficult to gain business on new cars when most dealers can offer 10-12% clean off of MSRP before incentives on this site (Even I myself have difficulty getting these discounts in many cases). Also, full lease breakdown’s, and 1 deal per post are what are expected on this site, here is a template for future postings:

MSRP:
Selling Price:
Monthly Payment: (Based on XXXX Tax)
Drive-Off Amount:
Months:
Annual Mileage:
MF:
Residual:
Incentives included in lease:
