If you could drive 1, which would you choose: 2025 Benz C300, 2025 BMW 330i or 2025 Audi Q4?

Which one would you choose and why?

Neither. I would drive a $30 month Alfa Tonale Ti and buy a bunch of NVDA stock.

Have you test driven any of these cars? What’s your budget?

I’ve test driven the C300 and 330i, not the Q4

My budget is around ~$500-600/mo and you can get all 3 for that range from what I’m seeing

The BMW. The Q4 is an EV, so that is out. The MB C300 does not have the handling of the BMW. It really depends on your preferences and intended use.

Probably with some money upfront to cover fees and such. What are your mileage requirements?

Get a Q4 for half the price of a 330i, no brainer.

Is this really true, though? Thought I saw a few 330s for low 300s + inceptions & MSDs on broker threads this month. Though, I’m guessing with loyalty or corp.

Buy the one you like the best. If you’re indifferent and think they’re relatively equal, get the one that’s the cheapest.

I’m a steering feel and handling guy…BMW’s usually do that best, by far…MB does luxury better and never had an Audi but have had a couple GTIs that I really enjoyed.

They used to… now the steering is as numb as anyone else’s on their volume models.

Yeah, my last 3er was a stick 2017 M3 and it was a great car…no real knowledge of current base models.

Like @Wtmeyer said - depends on your preferences! Personally, i find the suspension on the 5 series and 3 series to be too stiff - compared to the C class or the E class respectively.
Q4 is an EV, if you are open to those - then for sub $500 you should even be able to get an i5 which would be a better option in my opinion.

Probably and the advertised deal might apply to a base 330i and 7500 miles/year.

The steering on the regular 3-series from 2 generations ago was sh*t.

I think conventional wisdom is that BMW no longer has any advantage in steering on mainstream models, and that’s been the case for several generations now.

Where??? (genuine question)

Not quite as cheap as I thought, and maybe doesn’t have loyalty or corp, but doubt it’s double the Q4

I have a few new ones which are in the $400s with inceptions at signing and loyalty or corporate.

Get a Q4 for ~$250-300/month? Is that what you are saying?

I feel like everyone got so distracted by taking the “half” word so literally that they missed the broader point.

A Q4 is a lot less than a 330i, apples to apples. Can you get a loaded 330i for this price?

There’s a decent amount of money to be saved by getting a Q4 over a 330i. Exactly how much depends on running an apples:apples comparison and IDK if you have loyalty or MSD or any other details of your situation. That’s for you to figure out.

Got it. Makes sense

I’ve heard some mixed things about the Q4 (the interior build quality + the tech etc). And then with the BMW, the 1 good thing is they are the easiest to transfer the lease
