Agree. And while not a Herbie fan, the Love Bug should’ve been there before Ponch’s bike, considering that’s not an “iconic car”

On my list this one definitely would have been up there in the top two cars, perhaps just behind Magnum’s Ferrari 308.

Although slightly more obscure, this one would make my list as well. Lieutenant Colombo’s 1959 Peugeot rust bucket.

Many of these are at the Petersen museum!
I visited today and took only a few pictures but aside from these they have KITT, the Magnum P.I. Ferrari (in the background of the green jag), the back to the future delorean etc
