I need a lease broker to help me in MICHIGAN. I have employee discount. Please help

My wife currently leases a Journey R/T which ends this week. We are interested in another Journey GT AWD, Chevrolet Traverse, or Mazda CX9. Really just about anything that has 3 row seating. I need a payment under $350 on a sign and drive deal. 12K/24month preferred. My zipcode is 48167 and I have siblings that work for GM and FCA so I have access to employee/family discount codes.

Thanks in advance. We are ready to make a move ASAP.

Normally you’re not allowed to negotiate a deal that has an employee discount attached to it. At least that’s now the GM discount works. It’s a set price.

However, depending on how desperate a dealer is for your sale they might give you a price lower than employee, have you pay them the difference, and then refund you it right away in case of an audit. So i hear at least…

Here are this month’s program flyers from GM https://www.gmfamilyfirst.com/offers/

Good luck!

Try reaching out to @Benedetto. He works that area.

That’s blatantly false …

I should have stated that more clearly. You can’t have a pre incentive price lower than GMS if you’re doing down the route of using the employee discount (GMS). Once you add incentives then yes you get lower. And I’m sure there are instances here and there where you can negotiate a pre incentive price less than GMS but not often. GM reimburses the dealer part of the discount they passed onto the buyer - some dealers might dip into this amount but technically that’s not allowed.

That’s a lot of words to say something that doesn’t brush up against reality.

Now I’m not sure where you’re from, nor your experience level - but here in Detroit, every single GM employee or supplier deal is $1000 back. That’s the market for it.

That holds true in Ohio, Illinois and most other employee markets as well.

It’s the same way for FCA - Ford is the only domestic that does not allow movement behind subvented plans.

There is no audit of the numbers nor do they charge the customer back. That would be on the dealer side of responsibility regardless.

Source: Ran a CJDR store, have friends who run GM/Chevy/Buick stores, do lots of deals $1000-$1500 back GM EP/FFP.

Edit: Figured I’d add this while I’m still thinking about it.

GM Employee, when you stack w/ conquest, is often a hard set number.

GM Supplier, when you stack w/ conquest, is not.

Straight without those programs, the store could go behind as far as they choose.

I emailed you Benedetto. I need your help.
