Soul nameplate has brand recognition and a built-in secondary buyers market from being featured in various “best of” lists over the last 10 years.
Not like “car of the year” but like best for seniors, teens, new drivers, etc.

Personally, at the 23K range, I’d be looking at a Mini Cooper hardtop, far more likely to get you laid compared to Venue/Soul. Plus they’re a blast to drive.
That’s all electric, right? Been through the electric route but decided against it for now as I am an apartment dweller.
Just gas:

Ran a 2008 Clubman up and down the hills of EssEff for years, perfect urban car, easy to park, very aggressive when needed in Sport mode, and was decent on gas.
This is the deal that i am about to finalize -
Soul LX with Tech package
Selling price - 22850 (dealer was trying to trade in this model with other dealers. Initially he said he might be able to get one at 22400 but he said out of all the trade in requests he initiated, the only one he got yes response for was one at 22850)
gov fee - 899 (dealer said this would probably be reduced to 750)
pro/doc - 150
tax - 2422
OTD - 25821
There is $500 rebate but I wont get Kia Finance 1.9 APR (for 60 months) with that. Dealer said he could get some local bank financing with 1.79 APR (for 60 months) but with at least 20% down payment. Contemplating whether to take that option. Also looking into researching auto loans in my area, never done that before as well.
