Hyundai pull ahead? What is typical?

I have a Hyundai pull ahead question. Coming to the end of my first lease. My lease ends the beginning of January 2018. I’ve been expecting to receive something from Hyundai offering a pull ahead but I’m not sure if it’s more of a standard thing or a case by case thing? A couple weeks ago I received a “lease end kit” in the mail but nothing more. Is there any benefit to waiting to see if they will offer vs my going to the dealer to request a new deal with a pull ahead? Just wondering if it’s better not to seem too eager by making the first move. I’m not really in any particular hurry but new shiny things start looking more glittery lately with seeing the light at the end of the tunnel lol. Thanks!

You make the first move in this case. Get an idea of what you want next, hack the pricing from what you learn here, and go to the dealer. They will waive the remainder of your payments usually if in its last few months before lease end

@goat-milk thanks for the response and your suggestion. I see your logic and appreciate your taking the time to respond.

I am in a similar position with a 2015 Genesis due to end in March. RV is 29,000… But KBB is more like 23 - 24,000, So, I am sure they will want every last payment cent out of me. A pull ahead would be nice, but like you, i just got the envelope with the lease end kit, I know they will be losing on the vehicle when I return it, due to it having more depreciation than they predicted, but still, I can’t see them losing even more just to make me feel happier and have me come back for another vehicle… That amount of a loss from 29,000 down to 23,000 is like 18 months worth of payments almost (I pay 340 a month) from a year year lease total.
