You should never be talking numbers with a dealer without knowing what they should be first. How can you effectively negotiate a deal without even knowing where you’re trying to get to?
Stop talking to dealers and put together a well-researched target deal for your personal situation. With that, you will know what a good deal actually is and be positioned to make them an offer rather than ask the dealer how much they want you to pay.
Is 7% off ‘good’ for this car? What have past deals shown on here? Are they marking up the MF?
Maybe calc an offer with 10% off using base MF and see if they bite…
10% is a very low ball offer, doubt 8% is even possible
