I am having trouble getting response from anyone, I was able to submit application multiple times, but no reward or email about acceptance/deny…
Although according to Edmunds only $1k and $8k are possible to combine.
They aren’t aware of $5k lease cash.
Also for NY residents there is $1100 clean rebate available.
The lease cash may be the federal rebate.
Its not. This is add $1,1k from NY state
Is there loyalty on Hyundai? and if yes, how much?
Thanks! That helps me put in perspective my conversations with the dealer I had with a dealer today who offered $199 with tax included and only first month payment on 36/12.
$500 as far as I know.
Did they include NY clean rebate? Is this NY dealer?
No, that was CT dealership and CT provides only $500 for this Plug-In.
I won’t qualify for NY state clean rebate since I’m not a resident of NY.
Does this Ioniq Plug-In qualifies for NY state clean rebate?
Yes , for $1100
It is still pale comparison to <$100 Ioniq EV.
I’m still trying to figure out the math why it’s close to $200.
Ev had $16,500 in incentives . $14;5k from Hyundai and $2k from NY state
Yes, but…
Plug-In has a higher RV of 47%/48% vs 40% for EV for 36/12.
Plug-In has lower MSRP than EV but about rebate difference. Lowest MSRP for Plug-In I see as $26k while EV MSRP started at $31k which is close to the difference between rebate for EV and Plug-In.
The only thing higher is MF being 0.00147 and lower state rebate.
6% of RV is around $1800 but $5500 less in incentives so You have roughly 3k more spreaded into montly payments
Yes, on RV alone but not together with MSRP change.
rough basic calc not accounting for tax, reg, MF
Plug-In: Sale Price ($25k) - Rebate ($9k) - RV (MSRP $26k * 47%) = $3.8k / 36 = $105.
EV: Sale Price ($31k) - Rebate ($15k) - RV (MSRP $31k * 40%) = $3.6k / 36 = $100
All else (tax, reg, etc) being equal, I can only contribute the difference to higher state rebates for EV and lower MF for EV.
But I can always be wrong with math
Unfortunetly NY dealers sell at MSRP price.
