Hyundai Ioniq 5 SEL AWD - $515 effective

I just signed this car. Will share details and contract in a couple of days, right now I have to catch a flight.
MSRP: $52.8k
Monthly payment: $515, including 10% sales tax. 24M / 10k terms

This was from San Leandro Hyundai. Nimer was salesperson and honestly, the best salesperson I’ve met in the last 10 years. If you can give him your business, that would be great.

This deal can be replicated at

  1. Fremont Hyundai. Talk to Donovan.
  2. Stevens Creek Hyundai: Talk to Mo
  3. Dublin Hyundai: Talk to Adnan

Alas I went with SL cuz they had the color I wanted. But the above 3 will give you the same deal +/- 10$

While I cannot be sure how much meat is left on the bone, I was happy enough with this.

For socal buyers, go see David at Harbor Hyundai

What were the terms ie 36/12k? 24/12k?

Did you have loyalty?

Updated. Loyalty doesnt work on I5. Also for Loyalty, need the prior registration under same name (according to one source)

True that’s a good Point for the 5 sel awd

Was this US Bank or Hyundai financing?

No, this is USB.
I fought with every single dealer I can find in CA to go with HMF, but no one could get within $100 of similar numbers.

Maybe end of the month may be better, but the inventory has dropped so much in the last 2 weeks, I didn’t want to take a risk

All 4 dealerships would only do US Bank?

.00286 is the base rate MF if i’m not mistaken.

Congrats. Any reason you didn’t go with the broker here offering this?

2023 Ioniq5 SEL AWD :battery: :zap:

MSRP: $52900

$2000 due at signing + $695 Broker Fee

24/10k - $360 plus tax

Believe that price requires loyalty

EDIT: My mistake, misremembered the numbers

No loyalty needed

I don’t think the SEL has loyalty in california

Thrill of the hunt. Just doing the math in my head, his deal is about the same as the broker deal including the broker fee. But he managed to get the deal with five dealerships. I’m guessing he must have reached out to like 20 or 30 dealerships, and spent an enormous amount of time.

Do the math. I am less than $500 off but the shipping would have killled that

Thrill of the hunt. This was my third hunt of the year

Congrats. What were the first two?

106k EQS for effective 560 a month. I passed it along to a friend since I wasn’t ready, totally regret that now.

116k EQS for effective 650 a month. Couldn’t get insurance because eEsurance doesn’t cover high end luxury cars anymore

Trick is to get one dealer to give you a quote in writing. It’s smooth sailing from there.

Congratulations. You may find Ioniq 5 better than EQS
