No discount, I wouldn’t consider this deal. If you look at the pre-negoitated deals on leasehackr you will see about 7% discounts. That said, my local dealers I have only been able to negotate about $2.5k off of MSRP (I’m still working on them).
As for residual there answer is wrong, it’s set as a percentage on the MSRP by trim/miles/length. For a limited trim, 15k miles 24 months my residual is ~$34,584. You can post on edmunds forum and they will tell you the incentives, residual and base MF. You want to make sure they aren’t marking p the MF either. Hope this helps.
incredibly helpful, residual on the 24 mos and 12k other dealer have given me is 63% so sounds about right, need to work on those discounts for sure, so far the most i have gotten is 2k, interestengly for the AWD they immediatelly gave me 3k discount, thanks a lot for this information will post back if i get anything better.
So this is about the worst a deal can get, but typical dealer response when someone asks for a quote. No discount from MSRP and MF marked up by .00040. Interesting that I don’t see any taxes added to the cost, so maybe you are getting some tax rebates which is good. You should shoot for 7% discount and base MF (.00217). Settle for 6% discount if you can get it.
Where are the taxes? Either they forgot, they ate the taxes, or Hyundai Financial is giving out tax credits to offset the pricing. If it’s 1 or 2, the deal isn’t bad since there’s about $3k of taxes on this car. If it’s #3, then you can work other dealers and see what you can get.
