I’m in Pennsylvania. How do i get a one pay lease deal like I’m seeing on some of these posts. Here’s what I’m getting on the Hyundai Ioniq 5. It’s basically the offers from the hyundai usa website. $2500 down, 24mos, 12K miles, for $351/month. The details from the website are:
$53,335
Discount- $2,500
2024 Hyundai Special Financing - $14,000
Your Price
$36,835
Taxes & Fees + $801
Documentation Fee + $464
Silent Security + $299
Temp Tag + $38
Est. Total Purchase Price $37,636
Est. Adjusted Cap Cost $36,416
Est. Monthly Payment 12,000 miles/year for 24 months $351
Est. Due At Signing $2,500
Taxes - Due Upfront $110
Net Down Payment $1,221
DMV Fees - Due Upfront $169
Acquisition Fee $650
First Month Payment $351
The discounts you see here will be accepted by maybe 1 of 10 dealers. And let’s say there’s a 50:50 chance the FM knows what one/pay is and knows how to contract them without getting the contract rejected. So your odds are like 1:20
If you’re willing to accept those odds and make offers instead of asking for quotes, hacking can be quite rewarding.
forgot to post about this when this occurred, but I was able to get the deal. There was really very little haggling done just a simple text, “if you can do this, I’ll be in in an hour.” Done.
Which should tell you that there was more room in the deal if you really wanted to work for it. It is a fair deal. As long as you are happy, just enjoy the new vehicle.
