Haha,

I “made” him take one back in 2023 :joy: he blew up in the blimp over the Channel Islands but survived…passionately riding his skateboard on the streets of the 'Nard and occasionally riding the Gold Coast Transit System

Is Honda coming out with a 2026 MY for the crv FCEV? Or they just did a one off?

I was looking into one and found the terms weird. Higher monthly for the 24 months but $25k in fuel card or $15k for 36 months with a lower monthly. I wanted the 3 year lease deal but is hydrogen’s price stable enough to last?

Short answer , YES

https://www.caranddriver.com/honda/cr-v-fuel-cell-2026

Also, I haven’t been able to locate any 2025 inventory in SoCal near me on the Honda website…and dealers websites too

Great if you live in Orange County. I think there’s one hydrogen station in all of San Diego county.

I was able to find one in Pasadena a couple of weeks ago. I was trying to see if the pricing would be the same in socal compared to norcal. One dealer was willing to throw in all their add ons (wheel locks, paint protection, nitrogen, all other crap) and another saying they’ll do $1000 off.

My closest is in Thousand Oaks then Woodland Hills-for the most part both have been operational whenever I filled up. I service the car in Mission Hills so I time it when I NEED fuel go there and refuel on the way back…still have over $12K left on my card good till May 2029

As long as you’re ok with the co$t TCO and fueling works for you-go for it… I said since the beginning I see it as a “cheap lease” and paid for fuel, but I also got the $7500 rebate from CA back in 2023 so it worked for me-after the rebate I’m at $255/mo

Not at this time…I have a 2023 Toyota Mirai and a 2025 Tesla Y Performance only put 550 miles bought in March this year, was driving the Ioniq all the time…so am set for now.

Seen the Honda CR-V Fuel Cell (Plug in Hybrid+Hydrogen) lease for $250/mo and $15,000 fuel card included, but not interested as of now…

Where did you see this?

It was on Honda SoCal websites…haven’t looked too deep but t be he ad said $1250 DAS and had $249 36/12, $389 24/12 and $229 72/12 Leases can’t remember exactly… Woodland Hills store advertised too

I was looking at the same thing as a possible replacement. Only got 1 station near me though lol.

Is it just me, but I saw that the 24 month deal had $25k in fuel card while the 36 month only has $15k fuel card?

Let’s hope they start blowing out these 2025s - 2026s already hitting lots. Wouldn’t mind leasing another one but not paying current prices this month. Have a couple weeks to go till I have to drop mine off

Correct, but 24 mo cost $140 more per month, 36 would be the sweet spot. 72 is stretching it way too long… 2025 Mirai Purchase is $249/mo with $2000 DAS 0% 72mo with @Cody_Carter

I also have only one station close to me 15 miles away, but it’s about 2 miles from my work so it works out swell, next one is 27 miles from my home.

No problems with the station so far? I’m near SF and all the stations closed inside the city the last couple years. I’m just not sure the station near me will last 3 years.

Looking around though, they’ve been sitting in dealers and no 26 MY have come out. I’ve had a dealer say they’ll take care of half the DAS for the lease so that helps a bit but hopefully it’s better next month.

Probably gonna get landfilled as it’s off topic:

Haven’t had any issues thus far…but I only put 5500 miles in 2 years on it, since I was driving my other cars more…but will put it to use a lot from now on, and keep Tesla miles low. I still have high hopes for Hydrogen becoming more mainstream…time will tell. My city was supposed to get one True Zero station-but hasn’t happened yet, hence why I decided for the “cheap” payment ($360/mo for 72mo) in 2023 for the Mirai.

Thanks will look forward to hearing how it goes. Need to break through all of these side conversations on fuel cell cars!

How did you calculate that?

$389-$249=$140

24 is $389/mo
36 is $249/mo

The initial numbers you quoted were like this:
