My Friend got a KILLER deal for a Chevy Traverse Premium yesterday to surprise his wife. Takes it home his wife doesn’t want it.

He is asking the dealer to take it back today. But if it doesn’t work out looking for an out.

Here are the details on the car

12K miles a year
$5K lease return damage coverage.

he paid $1600 out of pocket at $580/mo

If the dealer doesn’t take this car back today it will be available with an incentive for whoever wants this killer deal.

It is black on black will get all the details of the car later by tomorrow if he needs to get rid of it

Here is the back story:

He chose this car to surprise her as her 2005 Chevy traverse with 100K miles has been in and out of the shop for 3 months with new issues.
She said I dont want a new car I simply want my old car back fixed.

Heard that before from wife.
Luckily for me new car was much better than her old.
But dealer won’t take it back and unwind the deal.
After that deal Be ready that your friend will trade in this car to get another one and roll all the possible negative equity:)

You can’t transfer a lease for 6 months with GM Financial so that’s an issue as well as the crummy deal

If leased through GM Financial they also don’t allow transfers to anyone outside of the state. He will be limited to interstate only transfers.

i had to google what is Chevy Traverse, so there is zero chance i pay anywhere close to $580 for that.
