I was able to negotiate a 2025 Hummer EV pickup in IL for 10,000 one time payment (all taxes and fees included). I don’t love the car, so not sure if I should close it or not, but I know it is a decent deal. My questions are:
For people that own / ride that car, is it a nice car? Is it worth this price?
If I don’t like it, how easy is to pass that lease online for this price?
Ps: I was trying to hack a under $150 car but I couldn’t get any (e.g., prologue, blazer ev, etc). Happy to hear any suggestions here also.
Sorry, but I have leased a couple of cars and helped other folks with their own deals here. Maybe my question was not clear, but I am not asking if the deal is good / bad. I know the deal is good!
My question is:
For people that have the car, is it worth ~400/month? (E.g., I regret my 300/month LYRIQ even being a nice deal)
Is it easy to transfer a GM lease? Specially a 400/month Hummer truck
None of these questions have nothing to do with MRSP / deal being good. Anyway, tks for the answer .
ahh my bad! I misread your question as a deal evaluation!
-I think its definitely worth a 400/month truck-don’t have it, but have driven it.
-as mentioned above, can only transfer within the state so hard to guage but given your in IL, don’t expect it to be challenging, however, not sure of the entire tax situation with cook county/etc and how that would play out.
No problem! I am truly afraid of getting stuck with a car that I don’t like and just closing it because it is a nice deal and I need a car. Hard decision
Had a 2x SUV and now a 3x Pickup. Great truck, fun and enjoyable. The novelty wears off quickly as certain things can be annoying.
$400 is a great deal and not many options in this class for it. But based on your reaction of the LYRIQ, have a feeling you might get tired of it early. Daily driver on the road, it gets old quick. If you take it off road, then yes you’ll appreciate the capabilities more often.
Transfers are limited to your state and type (personal vs business). Credit score needs to be high for the assuming lessee.
That being said, if you do decide to pass on it, let me know. Have several friends interested lol.
