Just left the dealership after signing for a Ford Explorer. In the begining I told the sales manager I only want to pay $1200 at signing fast forward to the finance guy. He shows me the contract and i see it shows 36 remaining payments and i ask how come its not 35 and hes like oh you pay first month after we sign contract. I told him this is not what we discussed and first month should be included in the $1200, he goes and speaks to the manager and says no im right. I ask him so how does this go he tells me that they will just sell the car for $425 less then they did. I signed and left, i didnt pay the additional $425 he was talking about. My question is how do i know they will honor it and pay the $425.
Thank you in advance
You have to make 35 payments so it means the first one has been paid.
Contract says 35 payments right there, right? Should be in the clear
Well if they sold you the car for $425 less the payment would be lower, did you give them $1200 or $1200-$425?
I gave them 1200 at signing, he said the oversale price of the car would drop 425 to cover the first payment. I saw that to but it also says the first payment is due today so i dont know if they just wont pay it and ill get a bill for late payment.
