Brand new to leasing, but I am in a situation where I need a car for 3 years before moving abroad, so I think leasing makes some sense for me. I have a good deal of flexibility because I don’t have any real requirements as far as space/seating/storage. My priority is definitely saving money, so would like to identify some lower price point leases, while trying to maximize value.
I have tried to look through brokers on here, although finding any in my region has been difficult. I am just curious for those with experience, what steps do you take to find and identify cars that offer strong incentives and would be likely to be able to get a decent dealer discount?
I have tried playing around w the Rate Findr on here, but honestly, it has been challenging for me since I am not targeting a specific car.
Overall, Just looking for some car ideas that can be had for cheap this month!
To get started with the initial task of identifying cars that are cheap to lease, just ignore any geographic constraints you may be imposing.
While some incentives can vary regionally and some markets are more competitive than others, a $225/month Elantra in CA won’t run you $1,500 a month in Minnesota.
Whether I’m looking for a value-oriented lease or something more fun and appealing, the deals I find advertised in CA and the NE are always helpful to put together a short list of candidates. Home is Ohio.
With the caveat that shipping costs have gone through the roof, you can factor that into your deal once you narrow yourself down to a particular make/model
Is a good start outside the LH Community and tools. Edmunds lease forums are good ideas as well to see where trends are happening. Pay attention to what day it is, market saturation and what connections you have for incentives.
I appreciate you! The vehicle is more for fun than a need at this point so hence, not overly chasing–just trying to make it on the unicorn list :D. If you have some leads into that, that broker fee is on standby (lol)
