Hey everyone! Thank you for your time. I’m so tired of negotiating. These dealerships won’t budge on anything I’ve been trying to get a lease deal on a 2025 Kia carnival sx dark edition. I’m in Indiana, I’ve found 3, and I’m trying to work with the dealerships on them. I got one guy getting back to me after I sent an offer. I have one dealer who won’t budge and their price would be $48,550, making my payment $774 for 36 months, 12k miles (feels wrong, wouldn’t break down numbers for me) and this other one I reached out to this morning I’m just starting to talk to. The thing that kept me from reaching out to them sooner is it’s a more expensive vehicle with the rear entertainment package that we don’t need($51k , $49k sale price). BUT it’s been sitting on their lot for over 200 days. What is a fair offer on this car? The salesman said their Kia sales have been very slow so his boss is very willing to do discounts. I just don’t know if it’s even possible to get this car from anywhere for what we want. Trying to stay around $600 a month with nothing down or up to 1k down. We have a 2022 Telluride EX and that lease is up in October and we only pay $555 for it. Half these salespeople I’m talking to via email can’t even give me the MF or residual. This is brutal
anyways thank you for your time, and I’m sorry if I sound like I have no clue what I’m doing, it’s because I don’t but I’m trying to learn!
If you want to lease: get an Odyssey.
If you want a Carnival, buy it.
Your goal isnt realistic, choose a different vehicle
It’s 200 days on their lot for a reason.
Lease incentive seem almost non existent on these and MF seems astronomically high
A recipe for not being a great candidate for leasing unless they were HEAVILY discounted by the dealer which doesn’t seem to be the case.
