I am warpping a deal now, the dealer applied the $500 incentives to the deal already. But all I received is an email including an authorization code and a PIN from GM Card Team(I didn’t have GM account signed up before), but there is no credit card info. Now their financial guy reached out to me to collect the payment, and he knows nothing about the GM credit card. I’m confused cuz I thought the dealer applied the credit card for me so they should have the credit card info since $500 incentives requires a $1000 spending if I am correct. If they have never applied the credit card for me, how did they get the $500 incentives towards the deal? And my next question is, do I just go apply the card from GM website and provide them the virtual card info for the payment? I want to make sure this would work because I saw someone said that this CC application needs to go through the dealership’s link.
